Richard Starkey

Ahh the first Beatle Baby. Richard Starkey, aka Ringo Starr was born on July 7 1940, to Richard and Elsie Starkey. He is raised by his mother, his father left in 1948. Poor sickly little Ringo before he is even 13 years old he suffers a ruptured appendix spending 2 months in a coma, a concussion, and chronic pleurisy. His friends and family lend him the nickname "Lazarus".
Ringo is the last to join the Beatles. Almost booted by George Martin.. George is Still apologizing.
Ringo has 3 Children 2 boys and a girl all with his first wife Maureen. Zak , Jason and his Daughter Lee. Currently Lee is undergoing treatment for Cancer. I am sure all of our hearts and prayers go out to Ringo and his daughter.
Ringo has had THE most successful touring life of any Solo Beatle. In fact Ringo and his All Starr Band have been touring for many many years and may again tour in 2003! Lets cross our fingers!
Ringo's Song Zak has Toured in the All Starr Band and still does (to my knowledge).
Some more famous names that have toured with Ringo are: Jack Bruce, Peter Frampton, Sheila E., John Entwhistle, Howard Jones, Eric Carmen, and Jack Bruce. And Many Many more. Peoples whos names I cannot think of at the moment.
