What the Buzz is about: Metal fans and rock radio love bothg the guitar and acoustic versions of Incubus's single 'Pardon Me' from the CD 'Make Yourself'. So how did the song come about? "I saw a picture of someone who had spontaneously combusted." Says the hot lead singer, Brandon Boyd. "In an ironic way, I thought I could explode at any moment".
Road Warriors: The Calabasas, California group has amassed quite a fan base, thanks to tours with KoRn, Limp Bizkit, and the Metalfest Sno-Core. Says guitarist Mike Einzinger: "YOu get used to not eating, not showering - but we wont talk about that!"
BRANDON BOYD- "I've ben drawing since I can remember, so always take my sketch pad when we go on tour. I draw people when I'm waiting in airports or restaurants with design markers, and pen and ink. I also do sketches that are more fantasy-oriented, like an augmented reality that lets me explore the deeper corners of my intellect. My drummer and I spent 50 hours doing an animation sequence for our 'Drive' video. I don't show people mhy art often, only if I trust the person or maybe if they're another artist. I'd only have a whole art show if I could curate it myself and have control over what went into it.
