Friday/14th - yo, just got some great news. it's listed in the gigs page, but i'll tell you here anyway. on december 29th, 2003, in honor of the twenty-first anniversary of the birth of Bret Rodgers, there will be a kick-ass show at the Saint in asbury park. Besides us, there's Universal Breakdown (Mass pop punk),Last Perfect Thing (Jersey shore rock),Finding Westerly (Ex Early November, June Spirit),
Paulson (Played a few Warped Tour dates). we're all really psyched about being able to do this show with bands we admire and like very much. i'm sure we'll see you all there, and we hope to debut a few songs at the show. mark your calendars, tell your friends, etc.

Wednesday/22nd - hey guys, how are things? not too much of an update here. zack and i are polishing a two-man act to play around here to debut new songs and keep playing .badwill. songs in our off time. we're also doing it for the chicks and extra cash. also, click this link to see a picture of our friend Tricky at a show here in boston. http://www.returntothepit.com/pictures.php?id=58687&simple=1. he stands out, he's number 354.
also, everyone should check out sample chapters of the novel the contortionist's handbook by craig clevenger. those sample chapters can be found at www.craigclevenger.com under the "specimens" section. it was recommended to me by a number of credible sources, including fight club author chuck palahniuk. it really is excellent, so check it out.

Monday/6th - Hello loyal .badwill. fans. It's zack reporting in from boston again. The red sox just won the game and there very well may be a riot. In music related news me and kevin have completed the shells for 2 songs, and we are working on third and fourth songs as well. they - oh my god, they're flipping over cars. i have to go.

Thursday/11th - Hey guys zack reporting in from boston. Kevin and I have just gotten setteled here in and already were working on new material which will hopefully find its way into the .badwill. catalogue. Kevin has all but completed the basic structure and lyrics for one presently untitled song and i have been working on a number of riffs that also seem promising. Aside from that all is well. Hopefully the band will have a short time in october to rehearse as Kevin and I will probibly be coming home for a weekend. Aside from that who knows the next time we will get some serious rehersal time...oh well

Tuesday/9th - Sorry for the lack updates, but there really hasn't been anything going on. Chris, Kevin, Zack have all gone off to college, Chris in Wayne, Kevin & Zack in Boston. Needless to say, Badwill will be taking a pretty big break. We are all great friends so there is no doubt we will play together whenever the chance arises. But Badwill is currently... uhm... inactive. We'd like to get back together in maybe a year and write some new songs and record them for fun and maybe that will happen. Honestly, I don't know what the deal is. I will be playing with my friend Tommy on drums and Sean from Sarajevo on bass in a little project called Gravy Train . Because, goddammit, if I don't play some music I'll just lose it. I will still post here for the hell of it and maybe something cool will happen so check in sometimes.

Tuesday/29th - this just in, super-update whoo!
kevin.higgins' solo "band," (openmicnight), will be performing at the slowdown cafe in hightstown this thursday, the 31st. so come on out and support kevin and emily (his guitar), they will be playing .badwill. originals, including the new "disappearer," and "Fezzik, tear his arms off," as well as covers of songs that he thinks are good, and so should you. he will be joined on stage for a little jammy with good friend, brother mustard singer and guitarist, john walsh. if you weren't at walsh and smith's performance at the slowdown this evening, you missed an excellent time.
Thursday/24th - Not too much going on in the life of Badwill right this moment. I changed the page layout again and just made it more simple. So most of the page isn't up and running yet. We are anticipating a show in late August / very early September at Stingray's (Birch Hill) in Old Bridge with Last Perfect Thing and the Youth Ahead. We are still in process of booking everything, we'll let you know what happens. We still have copies of our EP available, so help us out and pick up a copy, there only 5 bucks. The track listing and lyrics will be available on the "music" page as soon as I get to it. We have two new songs that we've been playing live "Disappearer" and "Fezzik, Tear His Arms Off". We want to record these and more and make a full length CD in the future. Anywho, keep on with the crazy summer stuff.
