Two weeks had passed and Brian was still nowhere to be found. Nick had reported him to the police already with facts that he had raped Anais, but somehow, Brian found out and left the country. Anais wasn't feeling so well from what had happened still and was thinking over if she should stay with Nick or not. She had been going out with him to places, but always asked him to bring her back early, so she could throw herself in bed and stay there forever. Julie had told no-one about what AJ had told her, and wasn't planning to tell Ana any sooner, until she found out one day, by Nick. "Julie! How come you didn't tell me AJ is getting marry?"asks Ana, picking her hair up in a ponytail, walking inside the kitchen. Julie looked over at her best friend, as she took a bite of her sandwich and shrugged. Anais stared at her for a couple of minutes, then finally said,"It's cuz it's hurting you right?...Julie, c'mon! I told you, but you never told him anything AT all! You still can win him over if you AT least try, but I doubt you will even do that! Cuz you always wanna be loosing! C'mon Julie, find yourself a steady boyfriend for once! And you know that AJ can be one, you just don't want to believe!...C'mon, get off the misery of staying here, it's not like if anything had happened to YOU! Live sweetie, cuz you're still young."
Julie stared at Anais, blinking her eyes quickly, never knowing Ana could actually come up w/ those words. Julie knew her friend was smart and could easily come up with these words, but she NEVER had said them to her! They were now 20 and things had seriously changed in the way they spoke and thought of things, but Ana was going too quick, Julie thought. "Oh c'mon Ana, you know AJ is getting married now and I can't change that. Maybe I do still like him but still. And c'mon, I'm living my life, i'm not beating around the bush here..." Ana laughed at Julie and shook her head in disbelief, then said,"Will you even listen to yourself? Your not beating around the bush here? YES YOU ARE! You don't even know what to say anymore now when it comes to AJ...Julie, I'm telling you, that guy likes you and if you do something GOOD, it might make him change his mind for marrying that girl he probably doesn't even really know! C'mon girl, you know you're probably the only one that can change his mind, and you're just sitting here, doing nothing but EATING!..Think about it, Jule and you'll see what I mean." Anais walked over to her friend, gave her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek, then left to go outside, to their pool. Julie drank her soda, and started thinking of what Ana had said to her. Maybe Ana was right, maybe SHE was the only one that could change AJ's mind, so why wasn't she trying? Maybe because she thought it wasn't worth it? Well, it must be, if she thought about him every night.
Nick ran down the stairs from his room and answered his door, seeing AJ there,"Sup man?" AJ smiled at him, shook hands and walked inside,"Just here...Needed to talk to you about someone." Nick gave AJ a look of wonder, and closed the door behind him, walking with him to his living room. "Let me guess? Julie?"smiled Nick. AJ looked over at Nick, then looked down and nodded. "Ah man, now what? Don't tell me that you are backing off from your commiment with that girl...what's her name again?"Nick began, as he looked at AJ. AJ laughed softly, then answered,"Sarah." "There you go! Sarah!...Ok so, don't tell me you don't wanna marry her now cuz you've been thinking of Julie and you think you should be w/ her instead..."Nick stopped, as he looked at AJ, and saw that what he was saying, was ALL right. "Oh man! AJ, what the heck is wrong w/ you? You go around making every girl your fiancee and then after awhile, you think it over and decide to stay w/ Julie, when you don't even talk to her!"Nick said. AJ laughed again and said,"Why did I even come see you when you knew what this was gonna be all about?...Nah man, but seriously, I HAVE been thinking about this whole getting marry thing, and it doesn't click w/ me. You know, Julie's always been there and I really never payed much attention to her, even though I DO like her...I don't know man, it's just I think I should let everything go off w/ Sarah and try something w/ Julie, know what I mean?" Nick began craking up on AJ, shaking his head as he laughed. "What? C'mon Nick! I need help here, not for you to laugh at me!"laughed AJ, as Nick began to calm down, then said,"Look AJ, I'm not gonna tell you to go find Julie and talk to her, until you don't finish w/ Sarah. Cuz I'm not gonna be telling you to go over there to Julie's house, when Sarah still has your ring! C'mon man, I'm not that bad!..But I'm serious, until you don't break up w/ Sarah, I'm not advicing you to speak to Julie, cuz she's had enough shit from you and your new girlfriends everyday."
AJ smiled at Nick, then said,"Just what I needed to hear. Thanks man, I'll go over today to Sarah's and begin talking to her, telling her all my reasons why I think this won't work between us.", and stood up to shake hands w/ Nick, as the doorbell rang. "Be right back."Nick said, as he got up from his seat and went to answer the door. "Hey!"smiled Ana, Julie next to her. "Hey girls."smiled Nick, kissing Julie's cheek, then Ana's lips lightly. Julie smiled at him and walked inside his house w/ Ana, as Nick walked them inside the living room. "Yo Bone, look who came to visit."Nick smiled, letting the girls inside. "Hey AJ!"smiled Ana, kissing his cheek lightly, then sitting down in one of the sofas. Julie's heart began to race rapidly, as she went over to say hi to AJ, and as she felt his warm cheeks against hers. AJ smiled and watched her as she sat down next to him, not really knowing what to do. "Well, let's go start the barbecue...My mom and everyone else is coming. AJ, you can call anyone else and start inviting them."smiled Nick. AJ looked over at Nick and said,"Since when do you forget I'm your friend too? So if I wouldn't have appeared, I wouldn't have been invited!...OOh ok, so it's like that!" Everyone began laughing as Nick spoke up,"Nah man, I just forgot, but c'mon, let's all go outside to the pool, for me to start the barbecue." Everyone got up from their seats and followed Nick outside, as AJ watched Julie talking softly to Ana, wanting to know if it was about him....
"hey peoples..or more like ...hi Jule!"Tara walked in sighing with Kevin behind her. "What were you two doing?"Julie smiled w/ one eyebrow perked up."You perv..nothing like that."kevin laughed.Julie was blowing up some balloons for Nick in the kitchen as the others decided to swim. "What are you doing?no no..why are you doing this?"Tara sat next to her friend.Julie smiled as she looked down. "Well..Nick wanted me to blow up some balloons..ya know its a little party." Jule said as she pushed Kevin to get up.The three of them laughed as they took the balloons outside.
All of Nicks friends were there. They were all having fun listening to music,swimming, laughing,drinking,talking."PEOPLE!SHUTUP OKAY?!"Kevin yelled to everyone..he was kinda drunk."I have a bottle in my car..we are going to take some goldshlogger shots!" "woohoo"Nick smiled. "Oh great.."tara sighed. SHe didnt like seeing her bf all drunk. "OOo..i havent tried that."Ana smiled. "well darlin..tonight your gonna get wasted."Kevin gave her a crooked smile as he ran to the car. "Oook..I came w/ a hott ,intelligent guy..now im leaving w/ ..well reminds me of a hobo." Julie laughed. "well, just think , at least you dont have to listen to him say "no no tara!thats not the way home..here let me drive, im always right." Kevin came back w/ the bottle.Sarah,AJs gf,was there already. "Alright!babe, lets get to it."she said to aj. "ya know Jule..she acts kinda dorkier then you."Tara said. Ana laughed. "HA HA,funny!"Julie smiled as she pushed Tara and Ana into the pool and stood their to laugh. "And just who do you think you are,slamming my babe into the pool??"Julie heard from behind her. "Im ME..and i do what i want." "OH ya?" She knew just by his voice..it was kevin. "Yep" she smiled. "Well..your going in there to!"He picked her up and slammed her into the water."Ouch...that had to hurt."tara floated away Julie came up "Jerk!" splashing some water to him. "haha " he laughed . "Baby..join me!"sarah whined to Aj who was watching the girls in the pool.
So , Kevin,Nick,Aj , and Sarah got wasted, they were stubborn and didnt want to lose. "that shit is strong..and it taste like shit."Ana said. She cuddled up close to nick who was sitting down on the floor against the wall. "ahhh...this is the life"Julie smiled. Tara laughed. JUle looked away and swallowed 'nooo julie,...you cant, you'll just be in another mess again a week from now..you have pride..' she told herself. "ALex..umm ihave to tell you something...IM pregnant..from ALbert. " Silence filled the room. Jule stood up fast."well..i gtg umm, bye ALeX..ill see you at the wedding!" she rushed out of the room and left ALex in Awe. 'asshole!im such an asshole!' she wanted to cry but didnt let her heart take over. 'i dont care what anybody says..i dont even care what my heart says..Im NOT going to stay w/ this man..even if I have to lie..i cant..even if i love him..he doesnt belong to me...no matter what my friends say..i know what i want..and i dont want to be miserable for the rest of me life..'
So that Saturday had passed, some years ago and AJ had gotten married to his Sarah. The whole crew had gone to keep him company, and stayed the whole night partying, until it was over. Julie had also gone, and had swallowed her pain as she watched the man she trully loved, get marry to someone else. AJ had seen the pain in her eyes, but ignored her the whole night and made believe he didn't care, because of the lie he had found out she'd said to him. Kevin had accidentally said that Julie wasn't pregnant, because he had heard Julie and Tara talking one night, and Jule had told Tara, she had lied to him about Albert. AJ became hurt by the fact that Julie lied about such a thing, and just decided to really get married w. Sarah, not caring if she was hurting or not. Anais had also seen how hurt her friend was, because she had been there when Julie cried in her room, the nights before Alex's wedding day. She had stopped asking her to get w. him, because she knew it wasn't going to be worth it anymore. She only comforted her friend, and helped to make her move on w.o him. She also knew that Julie didn't want a man who would change his girlfriends, as quickly as he changed his underwear. So she let her friend move on, w.o making her think of AJ anymore. They had both finished college, and Julie had majored in being a doctor. Anais stayed w. her modeling career, and planned on visiting her hometown soon, no matter if it would bring her bad memories. She stayed w. Nick, not married, just being his girlfriend for a long time. And she had finally giving herself to him, hoping that this would be the man that would never hurt her, and hoping that her past would soon stop tormenting her. AJ had moved out from his old house, to somewhere further in FL w. his 'wife' and that's how Julie didn't come to see him anymore. He had called her one night, even though she never answered, and left a message, telling her how much he was missing her and how much he still loved her. From that night on, Julie was never around when AJ would come down to visit everyone, because she didn't want anything w. him anymore, especially now that he was married. She decided to move on w. her new boyfriend, Travis, whom Anais was always mentioning to AJ, for him to realize she needed better than him.......
