THE BREAKUP
Yes, well in case you haven't heard AFTERBURN broke up. Immediately following the Momma T's show, I was forced with a decision between Rubbish and Afterburn. I chose
to be in both cause I've been in 2+ bands before at the same time, so this situation would be no big deal. Adam was strongly against this decision, and after a continuing persuance for me to "choose" a band, opted to form a band of his own, with Marky Marc on drums. Soon after that, we all figured it would be for the better should Afterburn dissolve. THIS IS NO BIG DEAL PEOPLE. We're still friends
- it's not like one of those stoopid breakups that we remain bitter towards one another.
Everything's cool folks. As for this site, well Jen's taken over (and rightfully so).
Yep. So that's that. AFTERBURN is to record one last time together, so we can
have something to look back on of our days in this band. Now, some of you might
be going "Well Adam's in a band now, Marc's still in a band now, Ryan's kicking it off in
Rubbish. . .didn't Andrew get the shaft here?" Well yes. . .yes he did. Anyways, a big thank you goes out to anyone
who liked our music, and anyone who supported us by coming to this site.
Afterburn was a band based on fun. . .and it shouldn't have ended like this. . .
I also respect Willis' decision of getting serious about his band -
but however, we all know that in the long run virtually NO bands make
it in this competitive field.
I had fun being in Afterburn, and that's that.
