"INSINYOUWAIT" ALBUM REVIEW.
Written by Angelo Montilla, Journalist.
February, 2K2.

aaaaaI have never been a fan of rap-rock music. In fact, rapping with a guitar in your hand doesn’t mix well for me. However, there has been a rap-rock CD in my CD player for about two weeks now and it hasn’t got a break from spinning since the day I purchased it.
aaaaaLocal band DuNce released their first album last month after seven years of hard work. It’s titled Insinyouwait, a 28-minute hard rock album that includes eight amazing tracks. The band chose the name Insinyouwait because most of the songs on the album are about negative aspects of the human condition.
aaaaaWith Rick "Rizzick" Ouellette and Doug Mansell at the helm, the album has a good mixture of hip-hop along with hardcore music. All of the songs on the album were written when Ouellette was a teenager. The lyrics are written in a manner of real life experiences, which makes the album original.
aaaaaThe songs "Represent" and "Bring It" are both about how men’s egos towards women are like none other. "Damaged", a song that was written by singer/songwriter Ouellette at a time when he and the love of his life were apart, is one on the album that will make you cry and appreciate the realism Ouellette puts forth in the songs he writes. In the song, Ouellette sings about how drug abuse caused him to lose the only girl he ever cared about. "Does it still hurt, baby doll? I'm so sorry that the boy you grew to love grew to be somebody else." The song goes on about how he was sorry for what he did that made her not love him. It is a very emotional song.
aaaaaThroughout the whole album vocalists Ouellette and Mansell are backed up by an amazing all around sound. With Matt MacLean on bass, Jesse St. Antoine and Mike Zonak on drums and the wicked Ray "RayDog" Brunelle on the guitar, every song on the album will have you want to get up and mosh in a crowd of 10,000 people.
aaaaaThe art on the cover of the album is a lady sitting in a chair. However the only thing you see is from her waist down. The band said that the art on the cover reflects the lyrical content. The band is working on new songs, but it may take a while until they release another album. Until then, pick up a copy of Insinyouwait. You can buy it online at the DuNce website, and it will be soon be at Doctor Disk music store. You won’t be disappointed.
