If you like "Hard", you’ll like this debut CD from Factory 81. This full length CD gives you some serious music. Plus, a video of a live show, giving us the first glimpse of Nate Wallace (Vocals) Bill Schultz (Guitar), Kevin Lewis (Bass) and Andrew Cyrulnik (Amazing - Drummer). This 4 member band voices their ideas and controversial realities through hypnotic verses. "Peace Officer", appearing twice on the CD (a bonus "black & blue mix" at the end). "PO" tells a common tale of power tripping assholes, that I’m sure we all can relate to. Many of their songs stirred up emotions in me. The music is a good mix, it’s more melodic that it is "hyper hard core". Songs like "Belligerence", and "Ephedrine" create manifestations of chaos, in harmony. I could go on and on about this CD, I’ve listened to it every day for the 2 months it’s been in my possession. When I need some motivation, or I just want to piss someone off, I pop in Factory 81.
