mankind review from break the static:
With opinions and emotion fighting each other you know this disc has to be dangerous. With Nate (vocals) sharing his views of everyday life to his disliking of “pigs” in ‘Peace Officer’. Right from the start this disc hits you rigid and hasty. A strong deep end with Kevin (bass) & Andy (drums) holding down a massive groove! Bill (guitars) keeps it rough and hardcore that puts the icing on the cake! Strong points to this disc would be ‘Nanu’, ‘Peace Officer’, & ‘Diary Of A Serial Killer’. All these songs display the realness behind F81. The rest of the disc I find rather slower, but still enjoyable. Nate has a rather appealing scream that I feel he should stick with. Though Nate chooses to show his vocal skills by belting out lyric after lyric, I believe by coming across with more screaming and the same heavy music, Factory 81 would achieve a new level with their music. Can’t wait to see what the new disc brings!!!
