The purpose of the Music Club of Dine College is to provide a musical outlet

of all sorts, whether performance, lessons, or education. The Music club is

striving not to only satisfy its members and associates but to also provide

educational and entertaining performances to the Navajo Nation reservation.

The Navajo Nation is under privileged because of suppression and geography.

Musical performances are available but only available once in a while.

The Music Club of Dine College is a non-profit organization with all members

volunteering their time to not only betters themselves, but their brothers and

sisters as well. Last semester the club provided a weekly discussion of not only

business in the club but the club has participated in providing an outlet for

musicians. The Music Club provides some of the following activities:

The Music Club of Dine College has bi-weekly open microphone nights during

the regular semesters. The Music Club also tries to provide concerts featuring

great local talent. Workshops are provided once a month during the fall

semester. Guitar, Bass, and other remedial workshops are provided during

the fall semester.

The workshops and activities are held on campus, but it is not limited to Dine

College students. The Music Club of Dine College would like to continue to provide

opportunities for individuals who appreciate music. The Music Club of Dine College

will support all individuals who are interested.
