Denethor
Dunadan, twenty-sixth and last ruling Steward of Gondor (2984-3019). Denethor was a noble man, valiant, proud and wise. He was the last Steward of Gondor. He killed himself during the Battle of Pelennor Fields, by burning himself to death. He tried to kill his younger son, Faramir, as well, but was stopped in time by Gandalf.
