Who was involved in the making of the DMC-12?

The engineering and development of the car was primarily done by Lotus.  The entire suspension and frame was borrowed from the Lotus Elan, and much of the styling was borrowed from the Esprit.  More of its styling was done by Ital Design (specifically Giugiaro) and the safety features by Allstate Insurance Company.  The car however, was all John DeLorean.
