"Sitting On The Moon"

I saw you sitting on the moon
in your cloak of silver light,
stars glistened at your fingertips
your eyes lit up the night.

You listened in the stillness
to hear your children pray,
and held your arms out gently
to those that came today.

I saw you sitting on the moon
on your face a mothers smile,
within you burned a yearning
to sit with them a while.

You spoke in stellar whispers
knowing certainly they'd hear,
I saw you sitting on the moon
But I feel you standing near.

Gazing through a crystal ball
guiding hands by magick rune,
somewhere in a candle flame
I saw you sitting on the moon.
