"Crystal Ships"

Tell me forgotten stories
spin tales in perfect rhyme,
off on a mystical journey
into an ancient time.

Step into my crystal ship
with sails of silver thread,
fly above the rainbows
and beyond the stars ahead.

Back to when the dragons
ruled the skies and seas,
soaring in majestic flight
high above the trees.

When damsels in high towers
were saved by a white knight,
bound atop his regal steed
carried off into the night.

Take me to a magick place
where wizards were the rule,
life was lived by seasons
winter solstice was still Yule.

Where witches were consulted
'bout matters of the day,
and temples of the godesss
were places that they prayed.

I wish I had a crystal ship
with sails of silver thread,
I'd fly above the rainbows
and beyond the stars ahead.
