Poetry By Willow Dancer

"Besome"

I may just look like sticks and straw
but alas, I'm so much more
my magick tasks are many
all etched in ancient lore.

Stary eyed couples wait for me
to lie upon the ground
so they can jump and join as one
their hands in love are bound.

M'ladys circle must be cleansed
no bane shall stay about
round and round she dances me
and sweeps the evil out.

And as the midnight hour draws near
my mistress she will ride
she calls for cat to come along
and sit down by her side.

Once again the time has come
beyond the moon we'll fly
to join in full moon mysteries
my witchy friend and I!
