Our Parents...

Both of our parents have been so wonderful to both of us for a really long time. From putting up with our dating, to our marriage, and now our children. They all have supported us when we had Amanda, dealing with all of her surgeries, and now with school. They have all, always been there for us. Luckily, we don't have any of those "in-law" problems either. We both consider eachothers parents our own too.

My Mom and Dad...

My parent's have just had their 33rd Anniversary, and celebrated it by going to Laughlin on a mini- vacation. Who'da thunk ?!?! They love to go "Clang Clang"-ing, especially with their buddies "The Poles", also known as my Aunt Delores and Uncle Tony. My Mom still works, and my Daddy is still "Mr. Mom" at home. He does go bowling with his sisters a lot, and is also on a league. I do still like to hang out with him when we both have the time. He's my "best friend".

Jerry's Mom and Dad...

These two are somethin' else. They are going to have their 35th Anniversary this July. Dad, AKA "Big" Jerry, creates the most beautiful wooden furniture. He has built and given to us almost all of our wood furniture in our house. His work is unbelievable !!! Mom, AKA JoAnn, is the Queen of Arts and Crafts !!! She is as unbelievable with her crafts as Dad is with his wood. She even has a room at her house known as the "Craft Room". I love to work with her when we both have the time, she is always teaching me new things. I've also gotten a lot of taste for Interior Designs from her. She got me hooked on HGTV !!! (That's Home & Garden Television for those of you non-crafty people.) They are usually busy in their daily lives, but when they both have a break, we all go out crusin' on their boat at the lake. We have so much fun together !!!!

Our Grandparents...

Above: Grandma and Grandpa Hoy, on Jerry's side of the family, live in Iowa. They are two of the spunkiest old people that I know !!! Jerry's Grandma called us one Christmas to tell us a very dirty joke. I was dumbfounded !!! (You can email me to find out what it was.) They crack me up. We miss them most of the year, but usually around Christmas they come out to visit. Winterbirds !!!

Below: My Grandmother is a wonderful woman. She has raised six children, and is now retired. She has volunteered at a local hospital for many years. She used to tell all of her grandchildren, and still does to her great-grandchildren, whenever we would get hurt, that "It would be better by the time we got married." Thanks Grandma - it is.
