Home employment is one of the hottest topics on the internet,
unfortunately
there are many people trying to cash in on this hot idea
of working
from home. Therefore it is extremely important
for one, who is looking
for a good home based job to check things out before
diving in. That
is why I have created this site, to be a resource for
those seeking good
legit work at home. Although, it is a bit more
difficult to find a telecommuting
job might be to find a job working at the office, there
are still ways
of finding the right home based job for you.
This page was created to providing you free
information on what types
of things to look out for while searching for a true
telecommuting job, as
well as secret tips on how to go about getting that telecommuting
job you always wanted. Tips that can not be found
on any other site.
One important thing to remember while looking for a work
at home
job is that a legitimate employer is not going to charge
you for
employment. How many times where you asked to pay $25
in a
job interview for the time you are costing them to process
your
paperwork? Real jobs don't require money up front.
What they
will ask for are things that every company requires when
they hire
new employees such as; Resumes, references, work history,
w2 forms, ect. Get the picture.
Well now that we have that out of the way, why don't we
analyze
a few of the different scams that are out there, thus
knowing from the
get go what we need to avoid. If by chance you
do ever feel that
you were ripped off, there are ways to get even, and
I have created
a page just for that called the Organizations
Site where there are links
to government sites that try to prevent these small business
scams from
existing.
E-mail processing- one of the biggest scams on
the internet. What
exactly don't they tell you about processing e-mails?
Well, they
sure do let you know how much it will cost you for this
wonderful
profession, $20 up front, and then they will sign you
up. Why don't
they give you more details as to why they need the e-mails
processed,
or maybe from who will you be receiving e-mails.
That my friend
is because if they told you, you wouldn't want to do
it (important note,
if you are not real clear on what it is that you will
be doing, dot buy
into it). What they really want you to do is spend
your time promoting
some product of theirs that after many hours of your
time spent
advertising, you will be able to process any orders that
you receive.
Great deal huh.
Envelope Stuffing- Who hasn't seen the ads
out on street corners
and on bulletin boards that say anyone can earn $1000
a week
stuffing envelopes, well lets wake up here and realize
that it just
doesn't work that way. The theory here is that
same as the
e-mails. My question is why are people dumb enough
to believe
something like that, once again its that idea of getting
rich quick that
they are trying to sell not a job. In reality, whoever
does answer to
the ad and pay the money they require up front, will
be selling the
same thing hoping for a few good sales/suckers to sign
up for them.
Assembling crafts at home- The idea of assembling
crafts at home
has been around for years. People tried to sell
the idea that you
can earn a decent living by assembling crafts for a company
out of
your own home. I once purchased a work at home
pamphlet that
was full of different companies that "they" claimed wanted
people to
assemble their crafts from home. After writing to these
companies,
and receiving information back from a few of them, I
realized
there was no real way of making any decent money.
Most of them
didn't want to pay you much for the crafts that you were
to assemble,
and on top of that if they decide they don't like it,
then you don't get
paid. So as far as that goes they can find someone
else
Medical Billing- Now here is another scam that
must be avoided.
Why is it that you must buy their software which
costs well into the
hundreds of dollars so that you can then, look for your
own job.
Don't get fooled by the companies that are out there
just to sell
the software. I will admit, there are legit medical
billers that do indeed
work at home, but after talking to any of them, you will
find that they
never purchased any software, they originally were medical
billers
working at the company and then later broke off on their
own to
work at home. Their job experience is what got
them the job,
not their software.
Now lets discuss the many different types of legitimate
telecommuting Jobs that are available, and how one
goes about getting these types of jobs. There are
at least
four different categories of home employment that are
pretty
much available to anyone who wishes. The first
type is
just finding a company that is directly hiring telecommuters.
Although hard to find, they are out there. The
secret is
knowing where to find them. That is exactly why
you
are reading this page. Although, telecommuting
has
not been fully excepted by most companies, there are
some that have come to grips with the idea of having
employees telecommute and thus advertise all the time
for
good stable people to do work for them at home.
Many
of them will post ads in your local newspaper, others
will
post ads on the internet. I have created a page
just for
telecommuting jobs. This page has links to many
different
job databases where telecommuting jobs are posted.
These jobs are updated daily, and the trick to finding
them
in the database is typing in various key words such as;
Telecommuting
|
And search the job databases to find out what type of
jobs
have been posted. You will be surpassed at the
results. The
page I have created is at my Other
Links page.
The Rest of this page is being revised since new ideas
have
been found to better assist you in your Home employment
Search. I have left parts of it up but most
is being revised
so feel free to read the rest, but remember this part
is
unfinished and will be updated soon.
The second way of getting a telecommuting job is to convince
the boss why it would be beneficial for you to telecommute.
The third way of getting a telecommuting job is start
up
your own business.
The fourth way of getting a telecommuting job is to create
your own website and join affiliate programs, or your
market
your own service or product. I have created a page
just for
this idea, it contains a list of programs that help you
get
started in designing your own website, and what types
of
programs are out there that will help you generate some
income on the side if you don't have much time, or generate
a steady income for those who wish to dedicate more time.
