Lucky--Partner of Chrissi

I took some pictures, while I train Lucky to put his feets in the bucket. He has founder/ laminitis and the vet recommends cooling his feet. That is a new challenge for my clicker work. It took only 3 sessions each about 10 minutes to get him to do it all by himself.

I saw again the great opportunity of clicker training even for sick horses, but already clicker saavy. It gives the horse a bit fun and play, while suffering in sickness, lots of carrots, some spent time and attention around the horse and company, and for the handle something to help his/ her horse a get more comfortable while getting sound.

(Editorial Note: Chrissi is positioning Lucky with body language. She is able to move his body back and forth with her body and therefore, get his foot positioned properly towards the bucket. For more information, see RyderDraw)
