ACTS TWENTY THREE SUMMARY

I.        PAUL'S DEFENSE BEFORE THE COUNCIL( vs. 1-11 ).

A.        PAUL'S CLAIM TO HAVE LIVED IN GOOD CONSCIENCE.

            1.         Consider Paul's past life( Acts 26:9-11;  1 Tim. 1:12-17 ).

            2.         The exchange between Paul and the High Priest.

D.        THE CHIEF CAPTAIN'S PLAN:

            1.         200 soldiers, 70 horsemen and 200 spearmen.

            2.         They are to leave at the third hour of the night.

            3.         They are to go to Felix at Caesarea.

E.         THE CHIEF CAPTAIN'S LETTER:

            1.         An explanation of Paul's arrest.

            2.         He saw nothing in Paul worthy of such a fuss.

            3.         The plot necessitated getting Paul out of town.

F.         PAUL DELIVERED TO FELIX IN CAESAREA.

            1.         Felix agrees to hear Paul's case.
