            3.         The Jailor nearly takes his life.  He is responsible for the prisoners.

            4.         Paul stops him and the jailor asks the fatal question:

                                    "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

            5.         The answer:

                        a.         Believe on the Lord Jesus.

                        b.         They spake the word of the Lord unto him.

                        c.         He washes their stripes and is baptized.

B.THEIR RELEASE FROM PRISON( vs. 35-40 ).

            1.         Paul objects to their treatment of him.  He is a Roman.

            2.         They ask him to leave town, but he visits Lydia and the brethren first.
