DEALT WITH ON THE MORROW. IN SPITE OF THIS ABOUT 5,000 BELIEVE.
A. PEOPLE INVOLVED - Annas, Caiaphas, Alexander, rulers, elders, and scribes. Peter and John.
B. THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. The question: How did you heal this lame man?
2. The answer is complex but simple
a. We are questioned concerning this good deed.
b. It was through the power of Jesus whom they had crucified.
c. This was prophesied( Psa. 118:22 ).
d. Only by this power can one be saved from his sins.
A. THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. The Jews marvelled that these ignorant men were so bold.
2. They took knowledge that they had been with Jesus.
3. They admitted that they could do nothing to deny either the miracle or the claim.
4. They threatened Peter and John not to speak any more in this name.
5. Peter expresses his intention to ignore their threat.
6. They let them go for fear of the multitude.
