Lyrics to the songs on this release:
Conviction
We talk about autonomy and respect, but all I see is a lack of responsibility
Sometimes the difference between what's wrong or right, is not just a matter of personal insight.
We shouldn't have to worry about punks driving while intoxicated
We shouldn't have the stupid fights when people are annihilated
We shouldn't have to hear the many statements based on bigotry
With negative references to gender, race and others sexuality.
An honest mistake or an act of convenience?
An honest mistake or a pure lack of common sense?
Do we have no conviction for the words we like to say?
Riding down this path of stagnancy, surly there's a better way..
If we refuse to start to care then this is how things will stay.
Think before you consume, think before you act
If we don't, nothing will change - It's a proven fact.
If we're gonna sit back and complain about the laws we shouldn't need,
Then go and committ the very crimes on which law makers feed
Don't try to play "make-believe" in this false reality
Where you steal from friends and don't give a fuck while screaming "anarchy".
We talk about respect
and autonomy
but all that I see, is a lack of responibility
Sometimes the difference, between what's wrong or right,
is not a matter of opinion, or personal insight..

Desperation
There are women on the billboards and in commercials on TV
There are women selling products with their own bodies
Women selling beer, cigarettes and gum
Women looking shallow-minded and inherently dumb
Women selling cars, cosmetics and attire
Telling us to look good, this is what's required
There are women on the corners selling themselves upon the streets
Why are women so expected to sell their own sexuality?
There are women in magazines to tell us how to act
Manipulating us as children, telling us it's fact
There are women who have figured out to make a decent wage,
It's worth the humiliation of dancing on a stage.
Greedy eyes fixed on her, she has to hold a smile
cause she's single with two children and the pay makes it worth while...
They pay women for their sexuality, they know that it will sell
And some women see the money as an escape from their own hell
Both the sex industry and advertisors feed on desparation
preying on inequality, the accepted male/female relation
The more insecure the better, that's when we believe their lies
It's time to rethink and relearn, and open up our eyes.

the Gift of Life?
Currently over 6 billion people inhabit the planet earth
and with every hour, more than 10,000 people will be born
A gift that should be so precious is instead a perverted game of deception & control
Manipulative parents hellbent on success they could not achieve
Greedy corporations to bring them to their knees
A system based on murder to teach them how to kill
A false prophet to suppress their thoughts to teach them to deny free will
Text books filled with lies to distort their perceptions of reality
Television to rot their brains and fill them with banality
Consumer society to teach that money is success
Date rape fucking culture to teach them the roles of sex
Daddy beats on mommy, thats the way it is
when he gets tired of that, he beats his fucking kids
The gift of life, a precious act indeed, when a child is but a barcoded number in a system based on greed
They need bodies to fill the prison cells
They need bodies to fill the factories
They need bodies to fight in their fucking wars
They need bodies to satisfy their greed
In their eyes a child represents a profit, not a life
A potential customer, a consumer to be used and thrown aside
We live in a world where people would rather close their eyes than ever admit that we're anything but civilized
A cycle of oppression based on rules that they define
Hatred, greed, destruction: will we ever see it die?
Is it really our nature to accept being blindly led?
And if that is our future, then the human race is dead.
There is no basis of life in our current state of living.

In Darkness
The sun rises once again
Swallow the night has come to end
Lay down your weapons, lie down my friends
For the night will soon be here again.
And the bright light screams across the sky
And I am forced to face what I despise
A land torn apart by greed
Their lust for money, their power, we feed
And millions search the ground for scraps
In this system we fall between the cracks
Rise up together, rise up as one
Dismantle their system
We've only begun
And as the night falls
The darkness is setting in
Lay down your weapons, lie down my friends
In the darkness is when we make our choice
In the darkness is when we raise our voice
Cause we can live like slaves in this capitalist society
Or raise our voice and let our actions show just what we can be
A real functioning community with a real fucking purpose
Without all the greed
We can make this shit happen but its going to take more than just you & me.
We have to reach out and establish a real resistance
And the words alone are not enough
Our actions have to be persistent
We can't ever let up or even show a weakness
Because if we do they're surely going to beat us
Rise up, raise up your voice
We have to work together and we have to make a choice
Another 500 years of oppression and hate
Or start to rebuild before its too late
Raise up your voice
Don't take their shit
Solidarity is a weapon
Let's start using it
Raise up your weapons, stand up and fight
Join the resistance for all that is right
Raise up your weapons, rise up my friends
See hate and injustice come to an end.

Common Ground (originally done by ONE by ONE)

Traditions
Traditions ring hollow, traditions ring true
Billions still following but they haven't got a clue
Turn a blind eye to the origins
Another time and place
Where meanings changed with religious trends and fucked up social ways
Indoctrination
Your path has been chosen
Indoctrination
Don't just blindly accept it
The need for power and the privilege to own another human being
A lifetime of holy matrimony
Symbolized by a ring
Prearranged and re-arranged
Prepare for life in these chains
Do you take this man to be your master?
"I don't" is not the answer
Reproductive slave machine is all this ritual was meant to mean
Do you take this woman to be your wife?
"I do", now sentence her to fucking life
Tradition hides lies, traditions hold truth
Do we really need this paper to show us the proof?
Do we really want to continue to give our daughters away?
In a stupid game that used to mean rape, torture and slavery
Rituals created for us in a day and a time
When we had no choice what we did with our bodies or lives
Bought and sold, they robbed us of all our pride
From birth they owned us until we died.

Blue by Day, White by Night
From its earliest beginnings the idea of justice, within our system, has been nothing more than a blatant lie
The idea of unbiased law and order distributed by the very ones that wish we would die
From the very start the cops sole purpose was to protect white interest
U.S. Marshals were established to suppress indigenous resistance.
But it's not just the cops, there's more at stake than that
It's the prison guards, the FBI, and all they say "protects"
The Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines
All support this racist shit where you're 3/5 a human being.
Don't feed me this "white rights" shit like no one understands you
You're not oppressed you're a fucking killer and the cops stand behind you
Time and time again, we see it on the streets
Cops support the KKK and the values that they teach
And when people in communities try to fight back
Racists use their right to free speech to justify their attack
And we all feel the backlash when we voice our opposition
Because the cops will stop at nothing to defend the Klan's position
So we're the ones that feel the long arm of "justice"
Tighten around our throats to ensure our silence
Because the cops are the KKK
And the opposite is true
That the same racist fucker that burns the cross at night
Hides behind a badge in daylight
And is said to be protecting you.
Blue by day, white by night
Killer cops on the streets taking away our rights
Blue by day, white by night
Just sit back, don't make a fuss, or they'll snuff out your life
Blue by day, white by night
Killer cops on our streets issuing our "rights"
Blue by day, white by night
Just sit back, don't make a fuss, or they'll snuff out your fucking life.
