“So what’s up with you and Nick? Gotten together yet?,” Nicole asked while helping me stuff my clothes into one of the suitcases.
“Me and Nick are just friends. We’re never gonna be anything more!” I said while debating if I needed to bring my new jacket or not. I knew I should tell Nicole and Larissa how I felt about Nick, but I didn’t want to talk about it anymore, I just wanted to stay friends with Nick for now until I saw sure of what I wanted.
“Yeah, okay, Mandy, we believe you…” Larissa said with extreme sarcasm in her voice.
“Oh shut up Larissa!,” I said while chucking a pillow at her.
“Hey!” Larissa shouted, and chucked the pillow back at me.
PILLOW FIGHT!!!” we all screamed at the same time as we each grabbed a pillow and started bashing each other with them. Halfway through our fight Brian walked in and I accidentally hit him.
“Hey!!!” Brian screamed, while he picked up a pillow and joined in.
After a few more minutes we all dropped down of exhaustion.
“Whew, that was my workout for the day!” Larissa said while lying down on my bed.
“Damn you girls are violent, and pretty strong too!” Brian said with a laugh while shaking his head and walking out the door.
Your brother is so fine!” Nicole said with a sigh as she dropped down on the floor.
“Eww!! Boy’s have cooties!!” I said with a scrunched up face, and immediately started laughing with Nicole and Larissa, “I’m gonna miss you guys!” I said while hugging them.
I know! I can’t believe you’re gonna be gone for so long!” Larissa said while standing up.
We better finish packing.” Nicole said while standing up too and stuffing more clothes into a new suitcase.
I looked around my room and at my friends and knew I was really going to miss them a lot. At least I would have Nick, and Brian, and of course the rest of the guys. But it just wouldn’t be the same, I wouldn’t have my girls there to gossip to. I did always have Brian’s cell phone though...my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Yeah, come in!” I shouted to whoever was on the other side.
“Mandy, we gotta get to the airport soon, are you packed yet?” Brian asked.
“Yeah, pretty much, does that mean Nicole and Larissa have to go?” I asked while looking over at my friends who looked sad just like me.
“Yeah, sorry, I'll give you guys a couple of minutes, after I say goodbye to them of course." Brian said while walking over to Larissa.
"See ya Brian! Take care of yourself!" Larissa said to Brian while squeezing him in a hug, "Don't let Nicky abuse Mandy too much!"
"I'll try, but you know how hard it is for me and Nicky to not abuse Mandy!" Brian said with a laugh, while he let go of Larissa and walked over to Nicole. Everyone knew that Nicole had a huge crush on Brian, so Brian always made sure she felt special, even though they both knew they would never be romantically involved.
"I'm gonna miss my number one girl!!" Brian said while kissing Nicole on the check, and wrapping her in a hug.
"I'm gonna miss my number one stud!!" Nicole said with a laugh, while me and Larissa laughed at how funny they looked together. Nicole was like twice Brian's height.
"Well, I'm gonna go and wait for the other guys downstairs, we're all gonna head to the airport together, I'll call you when it's time to go!" Brian said while walking downstairs.
"I'm gonna miss you so much!!" we all said at the same time, and had a major group hug.
"I dunno what I'm going to do without my girlie’s around to gossip too!! But don't worry, I'll keep you guys informed on what's happening with a daily call from Brian's cell phone." I said with an evil grin.
"You're so bad!" Larissa said with a laugh, "But I'll miss ya!"
After about five minutes of hugging and laughing Brian called me from downstairs. We walked downstairs and all the rest of the boys were there waiting with their baggage to get going. I turned to Nicole and said my final good-bye’s, and then to Larissa. I had Mom and Dad drag my luggage out to the car, and said goodbye to them too. I then sat in the back of the car with Nick with tears running down my face
."I'm gonna miss everyone so much!" I said while turning to face him so he could see the tears running down my face.
"Aw Mandy!" Nick said while wrapping me in a hug, "Don't worry about it! I promise you, you are gonna have a lot of fun, and you'll talk to them everyday!"
"I hope you're right Nicky!" I said while leaning my head on his chest and falling asleep for the ride to the airport.
Aw, poor Mandy, she already misses them, I thought as I looked down at Mandy who had fallen asleep in my arms. It was going to be a tough three months for her, but I knew that she would have fun. Me and the rest of the guys would be there to cheer her up. When we got to the airport I had to wake Mandy up who hadn't stirred the whole ride.
"Mandy, we're at the airport." I said while nudging Mandy's arm a little.
"Huh?" Mandy said looking up at me with a confused look on her face.
"You fell asleep, we're at the airport ready to start our tour." I said while helping Mandy sit back up.
"Oh yeah, I forgot!" Mandy said with a yawn.
"I dunno how that's possible since it's all that you've been talking about the past couple of weeks!" I said while we walked out of the car, "Geez Mandy, how many bag's do you have?"v
"Five..." she said with a grin, "Wanna help since you only have one...”
"How much stuff do you have? There's not going to be any room for any of us on the tour bus!" I said as I picked up two of her bags.
"Thank you Nicky, I wuv you!" she said as she attempted to pick up the rest of her bags.
"Weakling!" I murmured under my breath, and I checked the bags I had, and went back to help Mandy. When we checked all of our bags we headed to the gate where our flight was gonna take off.
"We've got 15 minutes. I'm gonna go get a magazine." I said while walking off towards the gift shop, "Anyone else need anything?" I asked everyone else. Everyone shook their heads no. While I was walking to the gift shop I got recognized, even though I had a hat on. It was a young girl, probably 15. I signed a CD and then went back to the guys. It was boarding time. I was the last one on and the only seat left was next to Mandy.
"Ew!!! I have to seat next to her!!!!" I said while I plopped down in the seat. Basically everyone ignored me.
"Nicky, you know you love me, and you're honored that I'm allowing you to sit next to me!" Mandy said as she grabbed a pillow and went back to sleep.
"Boring!” I said, as I turned around in my seat to bother Kevin and AJ.
"So guys, what's up?" I said while looking at Kevin and AJ who looked like they wanted to go to sleep too.
Nick, leave us alone, and amuse yourself in some way that doesn't involve us!" Kevin said while he turned on his side and went to sleep, while AJ did the same.
"Fine, if you guys want to be like that!" I said while I turned back in my seat and pulled out my notebook and finished working on the song I was writing. Regardless of how much I hated writing songs, it made me feel better, getting my emotions about Mandy down on paper. It cleared up some confusion.
