“Hey Jake! What’s up?”, I asked as I approached Jake.
He looks good I thought, but I still couldn’t get Nick out of my head, I hope he’s not still mad at me.
“Hey Mandy, looking hot as usual, ready to go?”, Jake responded as he wrapped me in a hug.
It felt so good to be in his arms, I thought, just like with Nick. God, stop comparing guys to other guys.
“Yeah sure, lets go!” I responded, rushing all thoughts of Nick out of my head.
“So what’s up?”, Jake asked as he put his arm around me, “What’s your brother and his band up to?”
“Well, today, they’re shooting their new video, and they’ll be on tour soon. my dad’s gonna let me go with them, I can’t wait!”, I said, remembering that I was going with them. It’s going to be so much fun I thought, as long as me and Nick aren’t still fighting.
“Aww, you can’t leave me! I’ll miss you too much”, Jake said as he kissed me.
Geez, he moves pretty fast for a first date, I thought, but before I could say anything we were in the theater watching the movie. About halfway through the movie Jake started kissing my neck, that feels good I thought, but then I felt his hands moving up my shirt.
“Hey baby, you wanna go back to my house?”, Jake whispered in my ear while kissing me, and trying to get my bra off.
Okay, this is a little too much for me, I thought.
“Jake, not now please, it’s only our first date”, I said while grabbing his hands, and pulling away from his kisses.
“Please sweetie, you look so good.”, he whispered back, while moving his hands back up my shirt, and up my bra.
Okay, this needs to stop, I thought.
“Jake, get off me or I’m leaving”, I said while standing up, knowing that I was going to have to leave.
“Bye then Mandy”, Jake said, “I guess I’ll just have to find someone else”.
“See ya. Now I know why Nick hates you”, I said holding back my tears that were about to fall.
I ran outside and called Brian’s cell phone. I was so hurt, and felt so violated, I could hardly think.
“C’mon Brian, pick up”, I whispered to the phone as the tears ran down my face.
“Hello?, I heard Nick’s voice say.
Oh great, this is the last thing I need, I thought.
“Nick? Is Brian there?” I asked holding back my tears and trying to sound normal.“Mandy? What’s wrong? He’s in the middle of taping”, Nick asked.
His voice sounded so soothing and I wished that right then and there that he was here to comfort me, and hold me in his arms.
“Nick, can you please pick me up and bring me to the taping?”, I asked, giving up trying to sound calm, letting the tears fall down my face, “Please Nick, I’ll explain to you on the way.”
***Nick’s Point of View***
“Sure Mandy, anything for you, I’ll be right there”, I said hanging up the cell.
What the hell happened to her I thought, as I ran out of the shoot. I really hope she’s okay, if Jake did anything to hurt her I swear I’ll kill him.
“Where are you going so fast?”, I heard Howie ask me, “Declaring your love to Mandy?”
I didn’t have time to deal with him. I hopped into the car and sped all the way to the mall. At least it was only a few miles away. When I pulled up I saw Mandy standing outside, hysterical crying, and her arms wrapped around herself. She looked so helpless, and so beautiful. I ran out of the car and wrapped her in my arms.
“Sh...it’ll be okay Mandy”, I whispered, trying my best to make her tears stop.
It hurt me so much to see her so upset like this. I had never seen her so upset before.
“Come on lets get into the car”.
We got into the car and Mandy told me everything that happened in between her sobs.
