LATE BREAKING NEWS!!

Sturges Monster Trucks, has recently acquired a new monster truck to add to our fleet. In the late Spring of 1999, he took delivery on a 1940 Willys Monster Truck named "NASTY". Sam along with Ronnie and Jason (Crew) drove to Oklahoma and picked up the new truck.

The monster truck had been campaigned around the country as "NASTY" and featured the first 1940 Willys fiberglass body, ever put on a monster truck. (Slick Willy came after this truck). Legendary builder, Jack Koberna custom made the truck from the ground up for previous owner, Mike West - West Coast Bad Boyz.
After the truck ran for about 2 years, it was parked and sat for quite some time. "NASTY" remained dormant until Sturges Monster Trucks, showed interest in expanding it's fleet of Monster Trucks.
Since it's delivery to Tucson, Arizona (Sturges Monster Trucks headquarters), the truck has undergone a thorough inspection and extensive improvements. Improvements included repainting the entire undercarriage (from faded Neon Orange, to Gloss Black), thorough inspection of all electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems, re-lettering the truck with an appropriate name, and removing the "lockers" from within the differentials or "drop-ins".
The truck was re-named "NASTY BOY" with both crew members trading the driving duties, from race-to-race.
