RELIGION, THE FACTS:

A religious person is one of fails to draw the line between absolute reality (objective invariables) and his/her own perceptive abilities (subjective variables). This original fallacy leads to something we have decided to call "the beleif in God", in order to simplify things. This belief concerns the subjective concept of for example a divine creator, being thought of a objective truth. This is the foundation of all religious activity, the superficial cause of all that which religion stands for. The original cause is on the other hand strictly psychological, and also completely deterministic. Here we find that "the fear of death" (life instinct) is the most prominant factor.

Hence, we can define religion in this short way:

Scientific cause: Libidinal energies.
Needs: Lack of education/objectivity.
Positive contents: The positive contents of religion as described by the famous philosopher William James. All subjective naturally, but none the less real for the effected individual.
Negative contents: Slows down the progress of society, and the intellectual capability of the individual. Religion is the fundamental cause of every war that has ever been fought, because religion (i.e. morals) promotes our primary process thinking.
Causes: Moral. For example, nazism is a religious concept, just as valid as Christianity from an objective point of view.
Fate: Will sooner or later be replaced by the results of the educational revolution. Will no longer exist as a influential system in society. This however, is nothing that will happen over night. All the religious people have to die first, and their children, and their children, and then some day it will be possible to educate a generation into "believing" in that which is actually true.

This subject matter will be dealt with more deeply later, both here and in essays we intend to post at the Total Scorn site. The associates at the Total Scorn are all nihilists, but that does in no way indicate that we do not like religion. In fact, we fucking love that shit! Because without religious monkeys raving about on our little planet, there would be much less funny shit to laugh at.

However, thanks to great minds like Kant, Schopi and F.N., we are personally not afflicted from this mockery. And thanks to people like D. Leary, G. Carlin, and the intellectuals of this planet, we also happen to know that we are not alone at our standpoint. Not that we'd give a flying fuck about it if we were.
