The Star Wars Role-playing
Game is game where you have your character, who has skills and attributes
which have a die number for which you would role if you wanted to do something
that you may not be able to do, (not like drinking water, or walking),
and you role that assigned number of dice, including the special die, (the
die which can give you extra, or decrease your role), if you make the number
assigned by the gamemaster, (the boss, storyteller, referee), then you
do the action, if not, you don't. The gamemaster puts you and the other
characters into situations, but you have to decide what you want to do,
and sometimes you have to roll your die code.
You make your
character, which is his species, gender, age, occupation, background, personality,
and die codes, (there are guidelines to your die code), and everything
else that has to be on it, (for that stuff, look on Yetrat), the die code
guidelines for starting characters depends on the species, (humans 18D,
7D on specializations), so, once you've made your character, you have to
find some people to it with, (as well as a Star Wars RPG book), and someone
willing to be the gamemaster, then the gamemaster has to think of an idea
for an adventure,
(the situation that the characters
are put into), and any characters needed for that adventure which the gamemaster
controls, (gamemaster characters), and viola, you can play it, (it may
seem hard now, but after playing it for three years, it gets easier).
