MALVIN LEROY'S OBITUARY

The obituary for Malvin LeRoy Thomas (taken from the local paper, Mt. Adams Sun) on Dec. 30, 1957 appears below:

"Services were held at 2 P.M. at Gardners Funeral Home Saturday Dec. 21st.for Malvin LeRoy Thimas, 49-year-old-employee of Underwood Fruit & Warehouse who died Wed. Dec. 18th at his home in White Salmon. Cause of death is unknown, but presumably due to a heart attack. The Rev. Roger Clevenger officiated at Saturday's service. Burial was in the Oddfellows Cemetery. Pall bears were James Woosley, Jim Remick, Al Bennett, Ronald Bennett, Earl Adams and Alvin Henry. Mr. Thomas is survived by his widow, Virginia Fern; sons Ronald and Lloyd; and daughters, Mrs. Ray Johnson and Miss Shirley Thomas, all of White Salmon."
