She was born 30 Sept. 1809 inNew York State and was the daughter of Peter and Catherine (ZIMMER) TUBBS. 9 children Charles O., William B., Ambrose N., Sarah R., Julia D., Seth B., Lucy A., Almyra, and Susan E.

Charles Oscar: He was born 4 July 1828 in Oneida Co., New York. He died 1 Aug. 1879, the

result of cancer, at his home on Doyle Creek, Fairplay Twp., Marion Co., Kansas and is buried in the City Cem., Florence, Marion Co., KS.

William Burr: He was born 4 Aug. 1831 in Oneida County, New York. Evendently deceased prior to 1840 as he does not appear on the Federal Census for that year. Nor does it appear in any other census or printed materials.

Ambrose Noel: He was born 15 March 1833 in Oneida Co., New York. He died November 1849 in Dundee Twp., Kane Co., Illinois.

Lucy Ann: She was born Oct. 26, 1845 in Illinois. She died Dec. 06, 1932 in Renton, King Co., WA.and is buried in the Mt. Olivet Cem., Renton, King Co., WA. She married Feb. 20, 1862 in Farmington, Jefferson Co., WI. to William J. Lee. They divorced, The family will be found on William's page. Lucy 2nd. married Wallace JOSLIN. No Children from this marriage.

Almyra: She was born November 20, 1846. Her date of death is not known but assumed to be prior to 1850 as she does not appear on this census with her Mother and three sisters. If she did indeed die in this county it probably can be assumed she is also buried here as all relatives on her Mother's side were Kane Co. residents in 1850.

Susan Elizabeth: She was born December 9, 1847 in Kane Co., Ill. She married November 11, 1863 in Sullivan Twp., Jefferson Co., WI. to James H. TAYLOR. He was born Abt. 1840/1841 in New York. Because of Susan's age (15 years) her Mother's signature was required on the marriage application. Facts on this family are very limited. The 1870 census for Forest Twp., Richland Co., WI. shows the family with one son, Willis, age one year. No additional info. has been located on this family. 1 Child
