  • Canadian hockey fans are ready to revolt. National Hockey League arenas have become the entertainment venue of the corporate elite.
  • The real life enjoyment of an NHL game is no longer an affordable option to Canadian families.
  • Nine out of ten Canadians can't afford the catapulting cost of today's professional hockey as an entertainment option.
  • The rising cost of equipment and registration fees have caused hundreds of thousands of Canadian youngsters to give up on their dreams of becoming the next Bobby Orr or Wayne Gretzky.
  • Minor hockey associations are forced to focus 90% of their efforts on fund raising while the vast profits from the end products of those associations are being splurged by extravagant owners, agents and by the greedy players
  • Our junior hockey leagues are headed in the direction of the moneygrabbers. The main focus is not to develop Canadian players but to win at any cost.
  • Recruiting players from around the world at the expense of our own minor hockey graduates must be stopped
  • The real Canadian hockey fan, attracted to the game by the skills of the participants, the swift skater, the skilled shooter, the solid body checker, the agile netminder, has nowhere to turn.
  • Talented players are being spurned for the 6' 5" 250 pound "power" player. who can hook, grab and punch his way through the neutral zone but has no inkling what he is to do in the offensive zone.
  • It doesn't seem right that Canada, the birthplace of a sport that has become a national passion, does not have a professional hockey league
  • Many of our skilled players are playing in the USA and Europe while millions of Canadians are hungry for good old fashion hockey and family entertainment.
  • Let's give our game back to the people who appreciate it..... the people of Canada
