The States of Victoria and New South Wales have always had a HUGE rivlary! As a West Australian having lived in both of those states, I have enjoyed the banter and competition. *smile*. 'Tis nothing more than that .. banter .. humour ... 'love to hate 'em''. ................. *aside from the author* lived in both .. loved both !! I lived in the State of Victoria for several years. I lived in a town called Sale in the dairy country of Victoria. The father of my children and my inlaws are from Victoria, so I have a fond connection with this State.
I love the City of Melbourne (the capital of Victoria) .. it has the most character of any city in Australia, in my opinion. The history and interest of the buildings facinating as you walk around the city streets. It is a city alive with personality!!
