Look Who Is Talking .....about Kim
"I keep getting asked about "the mysterious lovely blonde woman who got up at the Elvis Costello Tribute and blew everyone away with her stirring rendition of 'Peace Love and Understanding'" ...A veteran L.A. studio diva, Palmer is a singer and songwriter with a pristine voice and ability to write great pop radio rockers... Palmer proves she has as much diversity as raw talent...Whatever she does, if you ever see her name on the marquee, step inside and hear a local treasure for yourself..."
FRANK WARREN, SAN LUIS OBISPO TELEGRAM TRIBUNE"Kim has tremendous talent as a singer/ songwriter/ musician. She has developed an extraordinary catalogue of well crafted songs. Over the years I have personally been involved in the careers of Genesis, Bob Marley, Journey, Dan Hill and numerous other acts either as a senior record executive or a personal manager. I am qualified to evaluate Kim's abilities. I believe in her ultimate success and so does anyone else who has been exposed to her material."
DAVID RHYS PAGET, L. ALIEN PUBLISHING, LOS ANGELES"This month's Future Charters winner is Kim Palmer...give her a listen, A&R guys & gals this includes you!"
ALLEN FOSTER, SONGWRITER'S MONTHLY MAGAZINE, PHILADELPHIA"Kim is an artist who could never conceive of giving up. Though challenged she is still able to produce spirited, sophisticated and hauntingly beautiful music... she is a natural beauty, passionate, humorous and well-spoken. Together with her talents these qualities make her an engaging subject for film and TV...She is a seasoned, degreed and award winning musician whose pop-rock songs and vocal delivery are world class and highly accessible to listeners of all ages and walks of life."
KEITH BOMPHRAY, MISSION BELLE PRODUCTIONS, VANCOUVER"The biggest surprise came in the form of Cambrian Kim Palmer...Her piano playing was the best of the evening and and her voice added a soulful bluesy quality to the number...The audience was slightly dumbstruck by her talent, leaving many wondering why they haven't seen Palmer playing around town."
GLEN STARKEY, THE NUTIMES, SAN LUIS OBISPO"Every once in awhile I run across a super-talented person who needs only to reach the right person in the right record company to be able to take off on a great career. Kim Palmer is that sort of singer-writer-player and now it's time for her to have a recording/publishing contract with a perspicacious person who will recognize this great talent, appreciate how unusual it is to find such talent in a beautiful woman, and SIGN HER!"
WILLIAM F. WAGNER, MUSIC MANAGER, LOS ANGELES
"There are many talented people among us - one of them is Kim Palmer... Her audio cassette "Songs From A Porcelain Trailer" is hauntingly beautiful. This is the story and struggle of chemical sensitivities movingly told in song... she has a credit list too long to detail here. Her work is top rate - you won't be disappointed."
REVEREND LINDA REINHARDT, THE JEREMIAH PROJECT, AUSTIN"Kim Palmer is an excellent songwriter, musician, performer and arranger. I have co-written a song with her that was recorded by producer Richard Carpenter for one of his Canadian artists, Veronique. Her arrangement and musical skills are what helped us to land the recording. Kim has always approached the industry with a professional attitude and a creative spirit. She is a true musician and performer in that she is always trying to break new ground musically and visually."
RON JANKOWSKI, WOODEN HORSE PRODUCTIONS, LOS ANGELES"Kim's Songs From A Porcelain Trailer CD is wonderful. It made me cry. It made me laugh. The whole CD is a positive affirmation for all of us who are suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Gulf War Syndrome. As I listened to it I felt privy to a precious secret I just had to share!"
