Ed Carmichael

Jason Barth leans against the backstage wall in his cute costume that Robyn Allen and the gals at Phoenix Theater picked out for him. "Cute" I've just about had it with "cute Jason." What's wrong with the "fat" and "angry" Master Thespian, eh?

View From DS Right

In viewing this photo, I just realized that the painted walls actually look like wallpapered walls. Wow! Look at all this magnificent junk, most of it from C.W. Moody that litters the stage. Way upstairs, you can see Gary Vos, stage manager, talking with Kim Karahadian, who plays Gay Wellington, the inebriated actress.

Construction Painter Dude

Master Thespian snapped away as this nameless, but now, not faceless, construction dude skillfully painted flats backstage.

G Man

Chris Kennedy (it figures) played one of the three "G-Men" who intrude upon the party ending Act Two. Tom Rees, head G-Man, will call him 'Spanky' one night and 'Muffy' the next.

Howard Golub

Howard Golub, playing the dual roles of Prop Manager and G-Man number three, closely examines his EPT strip. Or is that a Chinese finger puzzle?

Gary Vos

You're in good hands with Stage Manager, Gary Vos, who quickly developed the habit of turning his head when Master Thespian was around. Here he carefully aligns the gorgeous $30,000 Persian rug that was lent to us by some Armenian person. The rug is very important because beneath it is the padding which comforts my nightly fall from the couch.

Jill Crivelli

Jill, who has the much sought and fought after role of my character's wife, Miriam Kirby, holds her lizard. Or is it her husband's lizard? I mentioned that many of the props were rented, however, many were also loaned by cast members. Jill was very protective of her husband's lizard.

Entire 19 Member Cast

The cast of "You Can't Take it With You." After our last performance, Jill's husband, Michael Crivelli, gathered us all together for the only group photo. You can see Master Thespian, standing on the stairs, wearing my favorite red power tie and black derby.
