The Violet Valley

Hi. My name is Shy Violet and I'm very glad you could come visit IQ and I here at the Violet Vale! You'll have to excuse me if I don't say a lot - as my name suggests, I'm very shy. Its a good thing you didn't bring too many people with you, or I might not even have said this much!
So tell me, what do you like to do? My favorite activity is reading - I read more than anyone else I know! Of course, the other Color Kids are usually off doing their favorite things, so I don't really have much opportunity to talk to them about it. They tend to tease me, anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love them all very much! They just don't always understand what I say. Rainbow says its because I'm so smart, but that really doesn't make much sense to me. Aren't they all smart too? But I'm guessing that Rainbow knows what she's talking about!
Anyway, as I was saying, I love to read. IQ and I spend a lot of time here sharing books. We like to read to each other. Its a good thing we have the same taste! My favorite book changes almost daily - how could I possibly chose just one when there are so many good ones? - but today I think that my favorite is Molly Make-Believe by Eleanor Abbott. Its a really lovely little story and so sweet and romantic! Its hard to find, but if you ever see a copy of it, IQ and I highly recommend it!
I also love science and history. As you can see, my latest project is learning HTML code. I'm afraid that I'm not very good at it, what with having to take so much time to keep color and light in the world, but I think that I'm making very good progress! I have a good friend who lets me use her computer, so it all works out quite well, wouldn't you say?
Do you enjoy languages? La-la Orange is teaching me how to speak French, and I'm really enjoying it. I wish I could learn some more, but I really don't have the time. But some day, once I've gotten French all taken care of, I plan to learn as many languages as I possibly can! IQ agrees - he loves that sort of thing too.
Oh dear, I can hear Rainbow calling. I'd be willing to bet money that Murky and Lurky are up to no good again, so I'd better run! Thanks for stopping by, and may your days always be light and colorful!
