Jesus said: The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came, and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up; and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. -- St. Matthew 13:24-28a

Jesus said: the devil ... was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. -- St. John 8:44

Even in the Garden of Eden the serpent (Satan} first questioned God's Word [yea, hath God said ...] and then he contradicted God's Word [thou shalt not ...].

The enemy still uses the same methods ... [did Jesus say: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Me"?] and then contradicts it by saying that Jesus is just one of many ways to God.

Jesus said: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. -- St. John 10:10

Jesus said: The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. -- St. Mark 4:14-15
