Destiny's Child are nominated for one award for breakout artist/group of the year. They are up against Britney Spears, Next, 98 Degrees, DMX, The Roots, Eminem, and 'N Sync.

BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
Destiny's Child lost to Next (Too Close) for the best R&B song. The other artists nominated this year were Destiny's Child (No No No), Pras (Ghetto Supastar), Mya (It's All About Me), and Lauryn Hill (Doo Wop).
SOUL TRAIN LADY OF SOUL AWARDS
Destiny's Child won three awards for best new artist award in the best R&B/soul/rap category. The vocal quartet's "No, No, No" was named best R&B/soul single by a group, while their self-titled album took the group category for best R&B/soul album.
Destiny's Child received four Lady Of Soul Nominations! They were in the following categories:

Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist
R&B/Soul or Rap Song of The Year

BRE MAGAZINE
Destiny's Child just won their first music industry award from BRE Magazine. BRE (Black Radio Exclusive) monitors urban airplay and reports it on a weekly basis. Destiny's Child was named Best New Group of the year. The award was accepted by group manager Mathew Knowles last weekend at BRE's conference in Atlanta.
