Grooming for Coronets
Grooming for Coronets is basically the same for Silkies. You should probably take extra care for the crest. If you are going to bathe your Coronet, use a mild cat shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner is helpful by making it easier to comb the cavy's hair after you are done bathing it. I suggest that you don't use conditioner for the other cavy breeds(Except Silkies and Peruvians)because it could ruin their fur condition, and also there's no need for it since their hair is so short. If their hair is long enough, it should be wrapped EVERY DAY to prevent knots and tangles. (See how to wrap their hair under HAIR WRAPPING)
