The Tricks!!

I have only basic tricks at the moment..thinking of how to describe the advanced and intermediate tricks in words!!

GRAVITY PULL(tight-string tension)

Make sure the string is on your middle finger between your first and second knuckle Hold the yo-yo in your hand with your palm facing up Make sure the string is coming off the top of the yo-yo Throw the yo-yo straight down, when it reaches the end of the string give it a slight tug to bring it back to your hand.

THE SLEEPER(loose-string tension)

Hold the yo-yo palm up and throw the yo-yo down like a throwdown when the yo-yo gets to the bottom of the string keep your hand still so the yo-yo "sleeps" at the bottom of the string. Give the yo-yo a slight pull to bring it back to your hand If the yo-yo does not sleep, it means your string is to tight. Let the yo-yo dangle at the end of the string and spin it counter-clockwise, then wind it up and try again. Do not loosen the string to much or the yo-yo will not return to your hand. If the yo-yo will not come back to your hand when you try to pull it up your string is too loose; let the yo-yo dangle at the end of the string and spin it clockwise. This will tighten the string. Be carefull not to make it too tight or the yo-yo won't sleep.

FORWARD PASS(tight-string tension)

Hold the yo-yo down at your side with your palm facing down. Make sure the string is coming off the top of the yo-yo Throw the yo-yo straight out in front of you, it should go straight out, parallel to the floor and come back to your hand Catch the yo-yo with your palm up.

BREAKAWAY(loose-string tension)

Hold the yo-yo with the string coming off of the top. Flex your arm like you're showing off your muscles. Throw the yo-yo out to your right side so that it swings back down across your body. When it reaches the end of the string it will hesitate for a split second and return back to your hand
