Konichi-wa! At the time of this belated update, it is mid-way through spring semester, and this has been my hardest semester yet! I've got some tough classes, and two of them are related to instrument flying. It's kind of tough learning how to fly and navigate when there's nothing to see outside! I'm still flying the Duchess, a twin-engine airplane, so I haven't gotten to start actual instrument flying yet, and I probably won't get to that until next semester. Another big thing for me this semester is sophomore training in AFROTC. All us sophomores are going to field training this semester, so we spend an entire semester getting used to the kind of environment we'll be in, with the standardization, constant yelling, and of course, lots of really intense physical training! On top of that, I am commander of the Unarmed Drill Team this semester, and we are going to NIDM, the National Invitational Drill Meet at the Air Force Academy. My team and I are working really hard at getting ready for that. There's is going to be some stiff competition, and I want us to go out there and do our best. I'm also an active brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon this semester, and we have a new pledge class to work with. We are aiming to get our charter by this fall.
