MUMMEY FAMILY NOTES
ALBERT MUMMEY
On 7-12-1862. Albert Mummey enlisted in Company A of the 18th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He fought and died in the Battle of Springfield in the civil war. He had gray eyes.
ALEXANDER MUMMEY
In 1868, Alexander Mummey purchased 26.7 acres of land in Monona County, Iowa from W.S. Phillips.
He and his wife were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Onawa, Iowa.
He was an assessor of Onawa 1875 - 1877.
