Honduras!

This page is all about the mission trip I went on this summer with my church youth group to Tegucigalpa, Honduras! It was an awesome trip!

My church youth group goes on a mission trip every summer. This summer we went to Tegucigalpa, Honduras for two weeks and it was awesome!! There were 31 teens that went and 50 of us altogether. While we were there we saw 5,435 people give their lives to Christ! It was my first really big mission trip to go on and it was one of the best experiences of my life! While we were there we saw little kids sniffing glue out of jars or bags and it just really broke our hearts to see that. They would do that to try to get rid of the hunger pains in their stomache. We went to parks, schools, a boys and girls youth prison, a womens prison, a trash dump mountain, refugee camps, a cancer place for kids, a hospital and a couple of other places also. We had many different translaters while we were there. They were all really cool! It was pretty neat cuz the church we were working with there was alot like ours! But i want to tell you that if you dont know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and if He isn't living in your heart and you would like to know more about it. Me and Nelly...one of the kids at the cancer house. We were there two different days. We went to a nursing home and we prayed with and talked to the old ladies that were staying there. The one in this pic with me was like crazy but totally in love with God! She was so much fun to talk to even though half of it we couldn't understand. She would count with us and sing to us, she was very sweet! This was taken when we were performing spellbound for one of the schools.
