Though I was mad at Nick, I still felt comforted by his soft touch.
"Mandy…SHHHH…please don't cry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I've ever done, I really am." Nick begged.
"Nick…you shouldn't be here… I really need to be alone, please!"
"NO, I'm not leaving you, I love you, and I can't think of life without you!" Nick said.
"Nick, I love you too, honestly, but what's gonna happen to our relationship…I mean… come on, we always fight over the stupidest things and…"
"Shhhh…" Nick quieted only this time placing his lips on mine.
Why did he have to do this? Mandy…pull away…this is not right remember everything that he's put you through… remember…oh but then why is he here if he didn't care…and why was he kissing me? Those thoughts just ran over and over in my mind, only I never realized what I was physically doing.
Our "moment" became quite passionate as Nick unbuttoned my shirt. When I went to unzip his pants we heard Megan and Brian from downstairs.
"SHIT!" muttered Nick, "Why do we always keep getting interrupted?"
"Nick…umm.. I think it was best." I said butting my shirt back up.
"MANDYYYYYY, ARE YOU HOMMMMEEE?" came Megan's voice from downstairs.
"Yaaaa," I replied walking out of my bedroom with Nick's hand in mine.
"OH, Nick you're here," Megan said surprised.
"Uhhh..yeah," he replied.
"Hey Bri, wuts up?" I asked trying to break the awkward silence.
"Nuttin," he replied.
"Ok-aaay, this is weird, why are we all so quiet." Nick asked.
"Well, I don't know but I think ya'll have something to tell us, I'm guessing!" Megan said.
"Yeah, I guess we do!" We all got comfortable and gathered on the living room floor to talk.
We spent the next three hours talking about anything and everything. I had no idea what Nick was feeling until now, and suddenly I felt a little guilty, but I tried not to let it show. Nick and I were back together again, but we were taking our relationship a little more seriously this time.
