"Come on Nick we have to get ready to go on, Aaron's almost done," Brian said to his saddened friend.
"Why bother?"
Just then Megan came running up to Brian and Nick, pulling a very unwilling Mandy behind her. "I can't believe you dragged me here," she whined. When Nick noticed Mandy he got a nervous feeling in his stomach and walked away. "See, I told you he wasn't sorry." Mandy stated.
"Come on, he is, he's devastated." Just then their manager walked in and told them they had to get on stage now. Brian quickly got in his place and winked at Megan.
"MANDY," Aaron screamed walking into the room.
"Hey Aaron, I heard you and you were great."
"Thanks," he said cheerfully.
After the boys sang a few songs, it was time for their solos. Nick came backstage and I quickly left, and went to play with Aaron.
"Hey Rok, why won't she talk to me?" Nick questioned.
"Think about that one Genius."
"Oh, yeah…Gosh what an I do to make it up to her, hmmm. I should have never blown up at her in the first place."
"Hey, I know what you can do to surely make her forgive you," Brian said.
"WHAT?" "Why don't you sing it especially to her, Oh sorry buddy I gotta go on stage now, think about it your next."
Nick stood and thought for a second. "WOW, that's like the first good idea Brian's had in what like… forever." He said quietly.
Brian soon finished and Nick took his place on center stage! "Here goes nothing," he thought as he hoped Mandy was listening. "Hi Orlando, I'm going to sing Heaven in your eyes, but before I do…"
This caught my attention, Sure Nick always sang Heaven, but he never introduced himself like that.
"I would like to dedicate this song to…" Nick began as the crowd grew still. "To my girlfriend, Mandy, I'm really sorry and I really do love you," Nick finished and the audience, well it wasn't exactly still anymore. Some were booing and others cheering, and some…well… They just stood there in shock.
As the music played, and Nick's angelic voice filled the Auditorium, As Nick finished his song I felt tears fill up in my eyes.
I love Nick, I really do, but this was all too much, I needed a guy who I could have a relationship with and not worry about getting into an immature little argument, and as far as I could see I didn't see that with Nick. I couldn't take it anymore, I needed to leave and I needed to leave fast. I quickly found Megan, and pulled her away from the conversation she was having with Brian.
"UH, MANDY WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!"
"Listen, I'm leaving, If Nick asks where I am tell him you don't know…" I started.
"But why, didn't you here what Nick just did, don't you know he loves you and he's sorry, its not that big of a deal, why are…"
"LISTEN, JUST PROMISE ME YOU WONT TELL HIM WHERE I AM!"
"Fine, I promise," Megan, said solemnly.
I quickly left as I heard Nick coming from the stage, unable to control my crying any longer.
