What have they done so far?
**Months
ago they helped run a Basic skills course which was quite successful and those
who completed the course were given a certificate by the Lord Mayor of

then there has been little activity until a few months ago when the full time
ULR project worker ( Terry McCullough) got the ULRs
back together and working as a team with clear objectives

WHAT ARE THEY DOING FOR YOU
At
present they are negotiating with the company so that a First Steps in
Computing course can get up and running,but at present they are having some problems sorting
out the details with the company.
Who’s been doing what
In
January
Bob, Terry, Lesley and Michaela went to the
first Bakers Union ULR. Conference which was very enjoyable and educational
.there were presentations and workshops to enhance the skills they already had
March
Saw
Bob go to the GFTU. Conference (Greater Federation of Trades Unions).Which was
a Dissemination Conference (posh word for seeing what everyone was up to and
how well they were doing)
