Additionally, there is the growing importance of new multi-media environment for the collection, collation, storage and retrieval of information for the purpose of maximizing the international security. However in reality China is still developing its presence in the international policing community. The majority of the official web sites of the Chinese police are Chinese language based, which means they are less accessible to the global law enforcement community. The idea behind my theoretical framework was to set up an interactive and impressive website. During the practical experiments, I obtained the knowledge and techniques which span the web colour, web design and interface functionality.

The most interesting aspect is to learn how best to use the wonderful web-making software¡ªDreamweaver MX 2004. I always failed by missing the images and breaking the layout table for more than 20 times, resulting in a lot of wasted time rebuilding the site management at the early stage. It is a relatively long amount of time getting familiar with the common set of HTML tags. It is definitely worth to experience the suffering process of building while coming across eventually.

To further the experimental development in the future, I intend to update the information of the webpage regularly to keep abreast of what¡¯s going on in the ever-changing policing and maintain the dynamic platform¡ªmy feedback home on the weblog. Another area of concern is the establishment of the international online forum of policing with excellent searchable archive which is to be built in the next three months, aiming to not only the MA course but the personal improvement and an extension of the academic achievements.
