Stuff

The problem with creating a video where you want to use music,
is that pretty much your only choice is to use old blues or classical
recordings that are in the PD (public domain) or with links to 
current bands that want the advertising. See the S/D link above
for the PD stuff that i've found so far. Also, another prob is that
even if you DO get the composer's permission, you still have to
get the PUBLISHER'S permissiion -- this happened to a friend of
mine with whom the composer was on good terms with, but the
publisher???  Unh, Unh! (sound of lawyers shuffling papers, and
then the web site gets shut down -- happened to me, when 
i used a still photo that someone sent me via email and turns
out it was COPYWRITED by a graphics catalog publisher (not even
the original artist!!).  Welcome to the 21st century, Mr. West.
