  1. The Bridge Drawing
    1. Fold a piece of paper into three sections.
    2. Connect two ideas with a bridge in the middle section. (Perhaps, something you want to change bridging into that changed life, or your past bridging into your future, etc.)
  2. Road Drawing
    1. Meditate on roads, signs, detours, crossroads.
    2. Then, draw a road that reflects where you have been or where you are headed in life.
  3. Landscape
    1. Draw a landscape that reflects your life right now.
    2. Is it a garden, desert, ocean - what?
  4. Draw A Dream
    1. With broken crayons (so you don't feel you must be perfect), quickly draw a scene from your dreams.
    2. Sketch dream images into your journal if you have one.
  5. Collage
    1. Cut articles and pictures that interest you from newspapers and magazines.
    2. With a glue stick, or spray (that allows easy repositioning), cover a notebook or folder.
  6. Mandala (or Circle Drawing) -most popular
    1. Draw a large circle on your paper.
    2. Then, without thinking about it, quickly select five colors from a pile of crayons to represent these five spheres of your life. (Emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social).
    3. Fill the circle in any way you wish will using the five colors.
  7. Inner/Outter Emotional Box
    1. Using a shoe box, or a hand made box about the same size, build your emotions on the box.
    2. Use lyrics, poems, images, etc.
    3. Glue them to the box, while the inside represents how you feel on the inside, and the outside being how you see yourself on the outside.
