Grace

By: ÄC. Bacon

He loved her he said.
But now shes dead.

He misses her each day
and lives with his regrets.

While holding on to the past
he knew it was still yet over.

He visited her every day
in the cemetary she lay.

He made things harder
by remembering her face.

As he laid the red rose
onto her grave.

He tried his best
to hold in the tears.

Thinking of all the great moments
that they shared.

He knew then it would never be the same.
because she hadn't yet earned her wings.

It had only been a few days
and here is now where she lay.

While stareing down
he thought of his grace.

He took a pace back
and tried to walk away.

With tears in his eyes
He knew it was to late.

To say the things that
he wished he had said.

Ten years later he never regreted
raising the child that caused her death.

A little girl,
by the name of Grace.

Took the most precise thing
that was in his life.

But in the end he began to see
that it was all meant to be.

And his loving little grace would one day be
the mother that he wanted his wife to be.

Heartland Of Dixieland

By: ÄC. Bacon & Amy R. Bacon

And to this very day I know, my Rebel Flag I shall proudly show.
I hold up high for all to see.
With all it's mighty power and it's glory.
I shall stand up tall for you all to see.
That this is our flag, and it's here with me.
In my heart it shall be.
And with it's fight, it shall win
And if not, it will fight to the very end.

This is our flag, we hold up high.
If your not proud to show this flag.
Then may God have mercy on your soul
Because he helped us through it all.
And if you colored folks cannot see,
How much pride this means to me.
Because colored people fought in this war too.
They were not ashamed to fight with the rest.

So join us and we will be the best.
Because we are all God's children,
And so therefore there is the truth before you.
So can't you see this means a lot to you too.

I think our fathers would be ashamed of us,
if they have seen what has happened to us in the end.
Because this racism has to come to an end.

So come and join us, and we shall be friends,
And raise the flag for all to see
That us together makes it worthy.
Because everyone has fought,
But yet a different war.

So why don't we raise the Rebel Flag,
And let it stay as part of a remorial.
For the soldiers who have fought.
They gave their lives for us, and you too.

So we should be proud to hold that flag,
Listen to these words I say,
For every night I pray
That one day,
Our confederate flag will go back up.
And we shall join hands,
And hug.

To yet embrace the flag once again,
And know that we are once loved by all.
So join us and lets stand proud and tall.

It's Amazing
By: Jared Wilderman

It's amazing, how friends can be
They can get so close to one another
And never realize
That the friend is actually a
brother.

It's amazing, how friends can be
How they can go without expressing
What they don't quite know yet
Until they are forced to learn a
lesson.

It's amazing, how so many people
Could be touched by one little gir
l
But most of us never realized
She was an angel, as big as our
world.

It's amazing that she could help
So many people, the way she
helped me
Without even trying, or knowing
she was
helping them
Just plain old Tiffany, is all she
had to be.

I could call her crying
And when I heard her voice
I had to cheer up
Because I had no choice.

It's amazing how fast it comes
It's amazing how fast it goes
It's amazing that it even happened
And still, no one even knows.

No one knows that Tiffany
Is the angel of all our dreams
They don't know that she's
Watching us right now
As she sits on a pillow, laced with
golden seams.

She is in a better place
As hard as it may be to say
But, she is still among us
Guiding us all the way.

She was like my sister
She helped me all of the way
She made me feel like a special
person
And always made it a better day.

To us all, she was more than a sister
And I wish she could know
Exactly how much we miss her,
And how we love her so

I love you Tiffany

I've Loved You For So Long
Author Unknown

Why can't you ever love me
When I've loved you for so long?
Perhaps you could just try to see
That maybe I belong.

I might bring smiles to fill your days,
And words to fit your songs.
If only you would come and stay,
I've loved you for so long.

Vainly, you search elsewhere to find
The love you ever seek.
Touch and take this love of mine,
A love that's yours to keep.

I Want You To Know

By: ÄC. Bacon

I find it strange, that I'm the one left in this game.
I try to understand why, but it's like I'm trapped inside.
I see you standing on the other side, telling me good-bye.
And I know I mustn't lie.
I've loved you since the day I cried, I found my tears held inside.
The thought of you made me feel right, and blessed to be alive.
I know I've felt this way before, but something tells me this is way more.

I see your shadow cover my door, but on the other side, yet it's just the floor.
The pain is all hide inside, I know I mustn't cry.
I just want to hold your hand, and see your smile, to let me know I have went enough miles.
I've waited far to long to tell and sing this song.
I've held my head high, and felt proud to be alive.

I've tried so many times, that it feels as though I'm tied against another.
I just want you to see that I've loved you far to long to hide it from the other.
My world will keep revolving, but soon come to a slow unreal reunion.
I hate long stops, but I know I'm reaching the top.

I'm falling for your heart.
Catch me please before I get torn apart.
Don't let me get lost in my broken heart.
I've felt love come and go, been touched by angels, and held by others.
But when I met you, I knew you was my dream come true.
You was special in your own way, and thats what makes you unique to me everyday.

Time comes, and time goes, but this time I know there is no turning back.
I am tired of trying, I am tired of finding the wrong things to say, the wrong road to take.
So hear me now, my voice is loud.
I need you more than you'll allow.

Trust can't seem to be enough, so what do you want me to do to get it through to you?
I love you, and thats all I want you to know.
My life won't ever be the same, if you turn me away, and my love for you will stay true, but hurt in pain.
And I'll be left in vain.

The showers the rain, and the sun will be my light, I'll find my way to you by night.
If your shadow is my guide, I'll take a step to you by midnight.
To know that this is my guide, I'll take a step to you by midnight.
I'm scared to hear whats inside, to know the truth that lies within.
To know that this is my last chance to prove my love to you, I'll step away to the side, and hold on for dear life.

I'm scared to cry, cause then you'll see, all the pain thats been hidden away inside of me.
I bury it deep, I bury it beneath.
To afraid to let you see.
Till this day, I'll let you see, the love that I have for thee buried underneath ~!~

Measured Steps

By: Michael Dubina

Every step I walk, today,
Will be a step of love
That will endear me to the Lord
And lead to life, above;
Each one will win His touch of Grace
Upon my life and soul
And be a measure of my worth
For Heaven's treasured goal.

I will not wander from the ways
That life has proven true,
And will not trample on the flowers
That love and patience grew;
I will but walk, with measured steps,
Each path and traveled mile
And line each path with deeds of love
And miles of happy smiles.

Mixture Fought

By: ÄC. Bacon

One black, one white, Yet so far they lie.

They've been brung together but yet they cry!

Mix and match, and strung and throwed but it's always like tye-dye.

They fuss and fight, day and night.

While not seeing whats on the other side.

May they hold on tight, and never die.

I want out, but I can't find my friend.

To help me through, though the cost will be as harsh as a pin.

I hope that God will one day remorse, and bring us to the marsh.

To bring us all together with love and care.

And destroy the war and all of the hate!

And make the world a happy place!

"The Ingathering"

By: Loise Pinkerton Fritz

O Father of the harvest,
Hear this, our thankful prayer,
For all the precious ingathering
Of bounty everywhere.

The sown seed has sprouted forth,
The full crop has appeared;
The wheat is garnered, tares
cast off
For this, another year.

O Father of the harvest,
Keep ust within Thy fold
That we may be the wheat,
not tares,
At the ingathering of souls.

Our Battle

By: ÄC. Bacon

The pain you've caused, the lives you've lost is enough to tell a story. Of just how great your fame and fortune is to your glory.

It's a long lost battle, but yet you still try, to hang on to the person letting go, on the other side.

You've learned to abid by the rules. Run with the wolves. Take that path out of the woods.

But yet you can't find the path you took. Now your stuck in a book. So don't give me that look!

I was just the one who took you through. Your guardian in disguise. Hide me now, or we shall both die.

We will find and defind the people that brung us here. The ones that wrote our names on the wall. Now we have beatin them all!

Reality

Author Unknown

A pile of letters never sent.
The thought of dreams I have lent
A bunch of unfinished stories.
A life of untold and untouched glories.
The withering roses on the table.
Evidence of a living fable
The fairy tale.
A life for the unfrail.
Enchanted woods filled with laughter.
The prince and pauper
living happily ever after.
No one imagined they were one and the same.
Until the realization of lifes
unreality came.
Though the pieces of the puzzle
may not always fit.
Change your outlook and you just
may make it. it
Some are shocked by the reality
of the unreal.
But the future is the result
Of how we feel.
Or for those who believe it matters
anyways.
So for reality's sake, hold on to someday.
