Curtis at his wedding " I thought it was the drugs I had been using for so long that were destroying my life. I had lost my wife and our beautiful children. At the end of my rope, I went to the Refuge. There I learned that drugs were only symptoms of my root problems. There were serious character problems that could only be changed by the power of God and His Word. Now I have a new life with Miste and my kids. I am becoming the man God created me to be. Kerry before and after " Five years of the life of drugs and all that went with it had brought me to the bottom. It seperated me from my children and took everything that was meaningful away from me. Then I came to the Hope House. For so many years I had been told that I was unstable. I had been diagnosed bipolar. Slowly, the fear of never being stable and mentally strong began to leave. In it's place came a strength of mind and character that I knew was coming directly from my relationship with the Lord. As I became a whole person, God began to restore my children to me. Now I am working and discovering my purpose one day at a time. And as we were taught at Hope House, I'm enjoying the trip!!!"
