The Dreamscene Gallery-A Jouney into Surrealism

The Dreamscene Gallery-A Journey into Surrealism

Hello, and welcome to the Dreamscene Gallery. If you're here, then you have either seen or downloaded my albums from Webshots.com. This is just an introduction page to all of you who are new to the Dreamscene Gallery. I wanted to show off my biggest and in my opinion, the best pieces of my gallery first thing. Normally I don't write captions for my pictures, but in this case I did. I gave a written account of my thought process' during the production of these particular images. So please bear with me, for I am not much of a writer than I am the artist.

Irrelevancy of Time By: Tom Ruley © 2002

Searching through time and space for a reason why the towers fell,
I passed by the bird-feeder upon the hand of nature. He said "Hello,"
as I wizzed past him. Then, out of nowhere it seemed, I saw the two
trapped in amulets, and I dodged them just in time to see the glowing
spider trying it's best to break the prison that enclosed them.

Imprisoned By: Tom Ruley © 2002

Mount Luna was beautifully visable from this great
height, but she was fearful of her incarceration.
Then, from a great distance below, her lover appears
to save her from her dreadful fate.

Fantasy Garden By: Tom Ruley © 2002

Here in the warm, sunlit glade of the High Priestess,
you can see the Pixie stretching out her tiny limbs just
awakening from her slumber within a rose.

Enter the Darkness By: Tom Ruley © 2002

As I looked out into that terrible void, I saw in astonishment
the many stairways and paths that wound about me. I was utterly
lost, and confused. I had to make my decision no matter which dark
path I chose.

I hoped you enjoyed your brief visit to this small part of my gallery. Feel free to visit the Dreamscene Gallery to find many more of my surrealistic fantasy pics.
