BOBBIE BAGBY: [LOS ANGELES] **MARRIED!!**
(As of August '06): "Hey, I moved to LA! I really like it so far. Keeping busy with auditioning, my Dad's company, babysitting, and the travel biz. Check out my site. www.timetotakeatrip.com (time to take a trip . com) Its very cool! Hope your all doing well."
(As of May '05): "Sorry I did not respond last time. Things are great. I feel like all I do is audition. I've been busy with HELLO AGAIN at Apple Tree theater for the past couple of months. Before that, I did SUNSET BOULEVARD the Marriott. Now, I'm choreographing SCARRIE, THE MUSICAL for Hell In A Handbag. Other than that, I'm a full time nanny, which I love, and busy with family and friends. Just trying to decide if I'm staying in Chicago, or moving within the next year. Decisions, decisions. It's so hard to know what to do!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful. I hate that I missed the reunion party! Hope things are good! Talk to you soon!"
(As of January '05): "I did SUNSET BOULEVARD at the Marriott in Lincolnshire this fall, which was a blast. I got to work with some pretty incredible people. I will be in HELLO AGAIN at Apple tree theatre this spring with Zach. Right now, I babysit all the time for some great kids who live in the Belmont area. Other than that, I'm just auditioning for summer stuff now and enjoying being in Chicago. I hopefully will be moving to NYC sometime this year; it all depends on if Zach and I are getting work here. Right now things are going in our favor, but who knows what tomorrow can bring."
(As of June '04): "Hey everyone!! I'm really not up to much. I've been auditioning A LOT. Nothing has come of it, but I'm trying to remain hopeful. I'm still living in Lincoln Square, taking Gymastics, and working for my Dad. That's really all I have to report. Keep in touch ya'll!"

AARON BENDELE: [LOS ANGELES]
((New Member!))

MELANIE MAY BOLEN: [CHICAGO]
(As of Nov '10): "I'm a single gal living in Evanston. I just bought a house in June (woohoo!) and am still working my Beachbody home business (full time now!). I am ranked as one of the leaders within the company and even qualified for the Success Leadership Cruise in 2011! Over the past few years I've still dabbled in the arts. I took aerials at The Actor's Gymnasium for a year, and I've also been taking lever harp lessons as well. I miss performing on stage, but I still get to perform multiple times per week when I teach Turbo Kick and Yoga up in Evanston. I have three adorable kitties (drawing the line there, as I refuse to become a crazy cat lady) living with me and enjoying their new house. If any of you all ever want any Beachbody products (P90X, Insanity, Turbo Jam, Shakeology, etc.) please buy through my website to help out a fellow alumni - www.exercisejunky.com. Cheers!"
(As of November '08): "I'm still living up in Evanston... I enjoy it up here! I'm still dating the same guy... it's a record for me. I'm also still teaching classes at the LA Fitness up here, as well as the Evanston Athletic Club (anybody up for Turbo Kick, Yoga or Bellydance), and I got picked up to teach a class at Northwestern University. My personal training certification studies are slow, but forward moving. I need to get better at time management so that I can accomplish it more quickly. As always, check out my www. exercisejunky. com site to read my blog AND support me by purchasing Beachbody fitness programs. You KNOW you want 'em!"
(As of June '08): "I am still living in Chicago but am planning on moving up to Evanston really soon so that I can cut my travel time (and costs) down for my commute to work. I currently work a day job doing administrative stuff but am teaching numerous fitness classes in the evening. I'm certified in group fitness by AFAA, and also hold certifications in Turbo Kick and PiYo (pilates/yoga fusion), and teach 5 classes per week at two different gyms. I'm also studying still for my ACSM personal training certification, which I plan on attaining by this Fall. In my "free" time I'm building my Team Beachbody business from home and I love it! Feel free to check my website out at http://www.exercisejunky.com . Other than that I'm doing great! I'm just seriously busy with my many jobs! I've also been dating the same guy for about a year now... seems like a milestone for me. Haha. Oh, and I have a new kitty in the family too... so two kitties now! So, that's me, in a nutshell. Busy as hell, but happy!"
(As of January '08): "I'm still living in Chicago with my roomie, Morgan Manasa. This year I've earned my AFAA certification in group fitness and I teach 3 nights per week at the LA Fitness in Evanston. I am also studying to earn my personal training certification. Earlier this year I was a contest from Million Dollar Body for my transformation story. You can see my profile on their site at www.milliondollarbody.com/melanieb. I also became an independent coach for them. I was chosen to be a founding coach and was flown to LA last December and spent time in Beverly Hills (where I met up with Aaron and Steve for a couple of hours). I now a doing that, my group fitness classes, and my day job as a secretary. Things are going really great in life right now! I just got a new Macbook, and I bought a celtic harp this year (I've always wanted to play). So, I'm not really doing any theatre, but when it comes down to it... teaching group fitness is a form of performing, because I've always got to have my best and most energetic face on. If anyone wants to know more about my classes or the Million Dollar Body stuff, shoot me an email or check out my website at www.exercisejunky.com"
(As of Feb '07): "I am back living in Chicago now. I moved back because of the Michigan economy being really bad. I did a lot of theatre while in Michigan, but it didn't pay the bills. Since being back in Chicago I haven't done any theatre and have actually chosen a new career path. I am studying to become a personal trainer (I know, hard to believe, right!?). I became certified to teach a group fitness class called Turbo Kick last year and I am hoping to teach that soon and earn my personal training certification by the end of the summer. At the moment, I work at an architectural firm as well as a retail job. I'm doing pretty well. I still share an apartment with Morgan Manasa and we still see some RU people from time to time (Josie, JP, Phil, Jessica, Rani, Jen B...). I still plan do get back into theatre, but I have other things I need to take care of first.
I recently won $1000 for losing weight and getting in shape thanks to Beachbody and the Million Dollar Body game. This week I am one of the Success Stories featured in the video on the website... so if you care to view it, click the link below (*note* check to make sure the video quality is set to "high" or else it'll be really choppy with a bad picture quality... you can adjust this in the bar where the volume is located) http://www.milliondollarbody.com/see_game.htm That's about it for me."
(As of Oct '04): "Hey all, Melanie here. I know I'm not technically from the class of 2004, but you all had to put up with me for 3 of those 4 years. So, I bet you wonder what I've been up to. Well, I've been working at a McDonald's and I've given up acting... haha... just kidding! I had ya, didn't I? Nah, I've actually been doing extremely well this past year and a half (and I hope I'm not cursing it). When I first got back to MI last fall I picked up a job choral directing for a production of HELLO DOLLY . To get money I worked as a call center rep for a local eletric company (and that job sucked). I actually ended up getting cast from my first Equity audition. I auditioned for THE THREEPENNY OPERA at an Ann Arbor theatre called Performance Network... you can see their site at http://www.performancenetwork.org - I was cast as Nelly. So, yeah, I was a whore, but one of only two whores (it's a small stage area). I earned 11 Equity points from that show. This summer I worked at Greenfield Village and at Comerica Park in Detroit. I then got asked to be in a production of LAURA'S BUSH , which is what I am performing in right now. We opened as part of Outfest in Ann Arbor and we are doing it at Performance Network in a couple weeks. I play Dody Dotson in this play. We've gotten really good reviews, so that's great. As soon as this is done I will start rehearsals for SHE LOVES ME over at Performance Network and I'll earn more points there. So, things are going very well for the underdog, I'm happy to say. Thank you, Erin, for putting this together! :) :) :)"

SCOT CARLSON: [UNITED KINGDOM]
(As of June '08): "Well, as for me...after Roosevelt I toured, got hurt, came home to Orlando, changed my life, entered gradschool for my MBA while working at Disney as a research analyst-intern. Now, I am on a brief-stint in Entertainment (again) while awaiting my relocation to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I will be finishing my MBA in International Business."
(As of May '05): "Here's what's new: Reebok commercial, two plays at Bailiwick (starred in one and it sucked!) National tour: FMA LIVE! , 5 callbacks for "Sky" in MAMMA MIA , ALMOST joined you in Osaka playing "Dracula". Going back to Chi-town in one week, auditioning for a movie and a show at the Goodman. All sounds great, let's see if I get a job!"
(As of June '04): "If you'd like to update the webpage, I just shot my first-national commercial for Footlocker/Reebok. Yeah, money does NOT suck!!! Otherwise, having a blast and working my ass off at Bailiwick...I see that Rendel and Erica R. are both prominently featured in some plays as well! Looking forward to hear what's new(s) with you, take care..." (As of May '04): "I just signed a 1-year lease to stay in Chicago...though everyone in any position is telling me to get my butt out to L.A. or New York. I am hoping to relocate to NYC within a year. Meanwhile, I am performing in Dance Divas, a benefit that raises money for AIDS charities. I will also be in two plays this summer, " THE LAST SUNDAY IN JUNE " and " KILT ", both at the Bailiwick Theatre. Last night was the first cast read-through of L.S.I.J. and I am really excited to work with them. I agree, it's weird not having to return to school. I went to my FIRST Roosevelt party the night of our showcase, it was sooo cool to see everyone outside of the classroom. If I could do it all over again, I would have worked less and partied more. I truly wish everyone AMAZING SUCCESS in their art and life [Dave W.]! Here's to the next chapter...... Be Well."

ROBIN CHILDRESS: [CHICAGO] **MARRIED & HAS 2 CHILDREN!!**
(As of June '08): "I am finishing the National Equity Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee right now. I have been with the company for a little over 2 years. Today is our last show in Ottawa, Canada after 9 months of touring 30 cities. It was amazing and I recommend that if given a chance to tour, do it! I did get married and I will be returning home (Schererville, IN) to prepare for a baby boy due in August. We are very excited for our new addition. I'm sure that will keep me pretty busy for the first year so when it's time to update for next year, I hope to be back to work, if not before. Hope all is well. Take care!"
(As of Feb '07): "Wow!! Alright. Here it goes. I am still working on the Broadway in Chicago "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at Drurylane Watertower Place. The run has been for a year and we are scheduled to close March 25th with a possibility to extend for a few more weeks. I am the Olive, Logainne, Marcy Park understudy and boy, does that humble a person. Try learning 3 roles and never really getting a chance to do them everyday. I have fortunately be able to go on for many performances and I love it. It's a great cast and fun show to work on. I am learning so much.
I am also working alot as usual. I am still at Wright College working in the Business and Industry Services Department helping to develop customized training programs for numerous companies around the city. My co-workers are wonderful and loving people who have taken me under their wing and come and support whatever show I am in. I am blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. I am also in my final year of teaching at Merrillville High School. I love teaching the high schoolers but it's hard to devote enough time, that they deserve, for a final product.
Nothing else is new. About a month ago Bobbie, Zach, Adam Cook and I took our annual ski trip to Harbor Springs, Michigan. Had a blast!! I am single, happy, and looking at buying a condo in this fine city. It's time to invest. :) I hope everyone is doing well. It's nice to look through articles, playbills, and myspace pages and see familiar faces. Keep up the great work and if your still here in the Chi, give me a ring. If you want tickets to the Bee, holla!! I might be able to getcha some."
(As of May '05): "I am doing well also here in good ole Chi-town. I have a new job at Wright College as the Assistant to the President. I am very happy here. I start May 9 and it is a lot of business type things, but very interesting and challenging. I also landed FOOTLOOSE at the Marriot Lincolnshire and will begin rehearsals August 29th and that runs until Nov 20. I am so blessed that I will be able to do both jobs along with staying with The Happiness Club’s Ethics for Kids program for the CPS schools and Merrillville High School. If I stay with both, when I go and get my Masters degree to teach, I will be up for tenure automatically. Everything with the degree is still in the works. I could possibly get my degree paid for and that would be a great burden lifted, but I am making really great money, so I won’t have to worry about it.My boy, Adam Hill, is a recent graduate of Vandercook College of Music Education and doing quite well for himself. He was just hired at his Alma Mater, Romeoville High School, as Assistant Band Director and he is amazing. I just saw his last Student-Teacher concert at Downers Grove and he is great with kids. He has a certain way to get young people to admire and appreciate music as much, if not more than, he does. He is an impeccable addition to my life and I am so lucky to have him. Enough about him. So things are going wonderfully and actually I am at work right now so I better do something that is work related. I hope things are well. Keep me posted. Talk to you soon! Robin. PS - Remember to watch Britney Spears this week. Her new show shall be wonderful!"
(As of November '04): "Here's the dilio, yo. I am currently living in Indiana with mom and dad and enjoying the home-cooked meals and free life. They have purchased a car for me to travel back and forth to the Chi. I am working with (surprise) The Happiness Club. I am their new Bookings Manager. I'm also waiting to hear if I have a positon at Wright College. I would be their new Manager of Production, creating a new theatre company/program. I will be calling many of you to work because I would get to hire my own staff. YOO WOO!! I am also teaching at South Shore High School in Hyde Park and still at Merrillville High School. I haven't been auditioning as much because of all the work I am currently doing, but hoping to jump right back into things. I get paid pretty well. People should look into it. It's not a bad gig at all. My nieces have grown up so much since graduation and I love them way too much. I am in the city every day so give me a ring if you would like to have lunch. I am so glad to hear everyone is doing so well. I will keep you posted on the upcoming job. Peace!!"

JAMIE CHURA: [LOS ANGELES] **MARRIED!!**
(As of June '07): "Kelley and I are moving to L.A. in less than 2 weeks!!! AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!! We're excited, giddy, nervous, scared... you know how it goes with a big move. Haven't packed our stuff at ALL! We have an apartment set up already, so that's good. We'll be moving in with a friend of mine from High School who's already out there - our place is in Studio City.
As I mentioned earlier, I've been substitute teaching in Kansas since December. Well, school just finished at the end of May. I would LOVE to be a teacher someday; it was an incredibly wonderful experience. I even had a permanent sub position for the last month of school - an 8th grade teacher had a baby, so I got to take over her class. Good times.
I've also been working really hard all year on the technical aspects of my music - a very "right brain" stretch of time for me... not really writing new music, but working dilligently on improving my guitar / voice / songwriting skills. Looking forward to sharing what I've been doing with more and more people if I'm blessed with the chance! :) I truly miss y'all and I look forward to hearing what you are doing this summer. (When you write your update to Erin, please remind her of how freakin' awesome she is for keeping up this site. She deserves our kudos!) Thanks! :) LOVE!"
(As of Feb '07): I moved back to America (from Australia) in June, 2006; I had proposed to Kelley in January (while we were still living in Melbourne). She flew back here in April, and I followed in June. The two of us used the summer months to plan our wedding, which took place on Saturday, October 7th 2006. (Oh, and when I say that "we both" planned the wedding, I mean "Kelley did almost everything and I suppose I am a poo-face for that." But hey, I'm a boy! I just didn't want to mess anything up!)
So, after the wedding, Kelley and I moved to Kansas with plans to save our money before moving out to Los Angeles. We are both substitute teachers in the Hutchinson Public School system (and we LOVE it!). We are getting work every day, so we are staying here until the end of the school year, and then moving to L.A. in late May / early June of this year.
That's about it! I'm really, really happy, and I hope that everyone else is feeling the same about where you are and what you are doing. I Love and miss y'all!! Can't wait to read about what you are up to!
(As of Sept '06): "Hi Friends! Wow, two years out of school... pretty amazing that it's been this long. As far as I can tell, all of us are still alive and eating food and whatnot, so that's pretty good. I went to Australia to raise koalas in the woods for about 15 months. I also had a brief stint with the kangaroos, and even lived in the middle of the desert with a really nice aboriginal tribe. They gave me a name. It was Lil'Jamie'Roo. They were very friendly. I ate paper and dead mice. But I didn't mind because I had blankets at night. Not to eat, but to sleep under. Anyway, that's all true. But ALSO... my girlfriend, Kelley, came out to Australia with me (as I mentioned in the last update), and in January of this year, I asked her to be my wife. She peed in a cup and handed it to me. (Which WAS a bit weird, but it was the tribe's way of saying yes to a question, and they encouraged her through it.) So, yeah! Kelley and I are getting married exactly one month from today!!! Woo-hoO!!! I am so freakin' excited!! My wonderful lady and I are talking about moving to L.A. after the wedding (which will be in Kansas on October 7th, 2006)... I want to keep going with my singer-songwriter thaaaaang, and Kelley (who went to school in Kansas for theatre and communications) wants to do some film acting. So, we're gonna give it a go! :) I love you all very, very much. And I'm heaps grateful to know you. You're wonderful! :) God bless all you do, ok?"
(As of May '05): "I am in Richmond, Australia these days. (It's a town just 5 minutes outside the city of Melbourne.) I am playing three nights a week at a restaurant/bar called Wild Oscar's. I spend several hours a day writing songs and eating cereal. I am getting really excited for my girlfriend, Kelley, to fly out to meet me here in Australia!! (She arrives June 20th.)"
(As of November '04): "I am enjoying some time with my family in the south suburbs of Chicago, saving some money until I go to Australia with my girlfriend, Kelley, at the end of May 2005. I will be staying for at least 6 months, and if I find myself with nice opportunities in my homeland, I may stay a bit longer. I am still writing and playing music, doing mostly solo acoustic gigs, as I prepare to leave the country this coming Spring. I am also an acting coach at a high school in the south suburbs of Chicago. I LoVe it!! I would really like to teach some day down the road. I hope everyone has realized that you are free to do whatever you want to do. So, go be happy!! Much Love!"

KEITH COMPTON: [LOS ANGELES]

ADAM COOK: [CHICAGO]
(As of August '06): "Ok - I feel bad. You are right. We should all update this, and major props to you Erin for being so forceful. To be honest, I haven't even thought about theatre since I finished my last show 7 months ago. It's been a nice reprieve, but now I am missing it. I am however working full time - Project Managing Account Transactions in Commercial Real Estate. I don't really know what it means, but it pays the bills. I am going back to school this winter to get my MBA, and feel like a total trator. However, I have never been happier. For all of you with aspiring theatre companies - keep me in mid for your boards! I still talk with Bobbie and Zach regularly (and sometimes Robin), and this summer have gotten to see: Katie Justice, Jamie Chura, Chip Davis, Ericka Ratcliffe (Who owes me a sweater - ahem), Adam Ford, Phil Higgens, and briefly ran into Katrina and Tony. Erin - you are in charge of the 5 year reunion. (Side note - I saw a legal/judiciary publication from a Roosevelt University study stating that Illinois has the highest conviction rate for narcotics possession, but the lowest percentage of repeat offenders. Leave it to Roosevelt to be concerned about the study of narcotics possession. GO FLAMES!)"
(As of November '04): "After graduation, I did a quick run of FEATHERS IN THE WIND at Chicago Jewish Theatre. I immediately went into rehearsals for VERBATIM VERBOTEN at the Royal George Theatre, which I assistant directed, and continue to work guest artist into, act in, and sometimes host for the extended run. It opened in August and runs through the end of January. I also did BUNNICULA at Lifeline Theatre in the fall, which was a lot of fun - especially recording the CD for it! I understudied another kids show at Emerald City/Apollo Theatre and will be appearing as the Tin Man in THE WIZARD OF OZ with the same group directed by the wonderful Dado. I am directing a version of Dan Stetzel's THE NAUGHTY CABARET at the Royal George as well, coming up in 2005. I also, got the great opportunity to host the second stage of THE ELECTION SHOW at the Neo-Futurarium on November 2nd. I have seen Bobbie, Zach, Robin, Katie, Katrina, Rendel, Lindsey, Adam Ford, Adam Mack, Tony, Chip, Jamie, Phil, Scot Carlson, Dan Stetzel and Scottie Ziemba since graduation. Would love to see the rest of you, or more of the people I have already seen."

MATT CROWLE: [CHICAGO]
(As of January '08): "I'm still in new york city and still performing in Spamalot. i greatly enjoy my job and the cast. August was a hard month, as i'm sure it was for many of us, with bruce's passing. the company was so kind and supportive through it all and gave me half the week off so i could make it up to boston for his funeral. it was deeply painful to watch such a brilliant man put in his final resting place when he still had so much he wanted to do. such a loss to so many. i had the honor of performing at his memorial service the following october where i met one of his closest colleagues from london. i spent many drinks and many hours talking with her about what he had been doing in his work in london. it was comforting to hear that he was so respected and so creatively challenged in what ended up being his final years. i am traveling to london this april and, while i'm there, i plan to visit central to hopefully hear more of bruce's endeavors. i hope this finds all of you happy and healthy and pursuing the dreams you deserve."
(As of June '07): "Hey erin! thanks for keeping up with this. it's great dedication on your part. i'm still living in New York City where i returned after the national tour of Doctor Dolittle starring Tommy Tune. I did a brief off-broadway production of Take Me Along at the York Theatre Company this past fall and am now performing in the broadway company of Spamalot. it's an incredible company and i'm so thrilled to be doing what i moved here in hopes of attaining. unfortunately, due to not getting to leave the city for the foreseeable future, i had to back out of being the flower girl in Katrina Kuntz's wedding, but she was very understanding. oh, and i believe that chip davis and i will be tying the knot this summer in vermont if we can reserve the chapel i saw in my brides' magazine."
(As of July '06): "Alrighty, this is my first time with this "where are they now" website. so, since we graduated, i moved to new york and worked my ass off at a singing waitor restaraunt in times square and was hitting 5 to 8 auditions a week. It was exhausting and frustrating, but i finally got my break last november and have been on the national tour of "Dr. Dolittle" with Tommy Tune. The tour offically closes in three weeks in chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. So, after that, i guess it's back to New York to carry burgers again. Hope yall are meeting with success. All the best to you."

CHIP DAVIS: [CHICAGO]
(As of June '05): "So first of all, Summer is awesome. It makes such a difference to have the sun shining; everyone seems to smile more. I got a bike, so that's neat. I moved into a great new apartment in Logan Square and there's many friendly faces just minutes away. Ok, so I just closed a show at Profiles Theatre called REGINALD QUIVER FOR SENATOR with a new company called Speech Impediment Theatre. This was an original play and I was Reginald Quiver. It was a blast and very tiring show. The day after that closed I went into rehearsals for THE TAMING OF THE SHREW at First Folio Shakespeare Festival out in Oak Brook. This opens June 25th and runs until Aug. 7th, maybe the 14th. The show opens with a huge fight where I get the crap kicked out me and end up in a watering trough, twice. Tickets are cheap so come check it out. Other than this, I'm taking some online classes to get a Masters in Natural Health and I'm in a two-man beach volleyball league on Monday nights at the south end of North beach. We're the Manhattan All-Star Assblasters. Additionally, Mark Wax and I have started a business together called The Cosmic Janitors, where we do a number of things from cleaning with Eco-safe products to Feng Shui. I also work for some non-profits like Illinois-PERG, Peace Action and Environmental Justice. I also sell air and water purifiers. I don't know what's to come in the fall, maybe Blue Man. Love and Gratitude to you all. Namaste."
(As of January '05): "I'm in a show at the Cornservatory called NATURAL TALENT or REAL AURAL TALENT and it opens Feburary 2nd and runs Wednesday thru Friday nights at 8pm until March 11th. Tickets are $6. Other than that, I have been going to the occasional audition for such companies as Perkins Restaurants - Oksana would be so proud of me - and trying to spend as much money as I can without actually making any. It's going fantastically well."
(As of July '04): "I'm in Napa Valley California just north of Calistoga in the town of Cobb. I'm working at Pine Grove Resort and Spa performing a variety of tasks that help keep the resort in operation. The location is amazing; being nestled between wine fields and pine forests and fresh spring water creeks. I'm connected to the Earth again in a much more extreme, wonderful, and respectful way. I'll be here until Sep. 7th at which time I'll be going home to Manhattan Beach in Southern Cali for a week or two. After that I'll be coming back to Chicago for a short time until I go to NYC with Matt Crowle for a week or two to help him move there. Then after NYC, I'll be returning to Chicago to my same apartment at N. Kenmore Ave. Speaking of which: I need a third roommate, so please send someone my way if they're looking for a place. $525 a month w/o utilities. I'll back in Chicago sometime in Early October and if you would like to contact me my cell phone doesn't get reception here, but I have a house line 707-928-9976.
During my off hours I rehearse for the shows we are putting on. Our first show opened on July 3rd with a great reception from the attendees. The show is two one acts by James McClure, one titled LONESTAR and the other LAUNDRY & BOURBON and when you put the two shows together it's called 1959 PINK THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE. Our second performance of this show is on July 17th and then our new show ALL IN THE TIMING by David Ives opens on July 31st. This show is comprised of four one acts, two of which I'm in WORDS, WORDS, WORDS and THE PHILADELPHIA, and then I'm directing SURE THING.
When we're not doing our shows we do improv games and sing and play songs at the campfire. A little background for ya'll on this place: Families have been coming here for four and five generations. Many of the people here use to work here as well. It's been under new management for the last year and a half, which is bringing much controversy since the new owners plans for this place is very different then what it is now. Right now the "Grove" as they call it, is rooted in tradition, and the new owners are making it less rustic and more into a "Resort & Spa." We're constantly feeling out our place right now and trying to implement workshops and dance classes and entertainment for the whole family around the existing activities like Bingo, which they have EVERY night. The attitudes of the Locals is mixed about us, but the surrounding areas are extremely supportive and want this theatre here."

LESLIE DE LA O: [LOS ANGELES]
(As of February '05): "I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I have been moving and busy trying to get my life situated. After graduation I was in Florida for 6 months being a ballroom instructor. Now I am living in L.A., California. I have been here for a week so far. A month ago, I was in Bogota, Colombia visiting. I have just been everywhere. I am just working really hard, trying to survive in this world. I hope you are doing great. Best Regards, Leslie!"

JESSICA DUNNE: [CHICAGO] **MARRIED!!**
(As of May '05): "Sorry it has taken me so long to write. You know how things can get. Anyway, I am currently working on HENRY IV that will be at the Theatre Building mid-August through mid-Sept. I will also be attending the National Stage Combat Workshop in Vegas during July, which I was awarded the scholarship for. Free training; can't get better than that! Other than that, I am working at Lincoln Park Athletic and Bartending at Pizano's on Clark. Staying busy as always, along with everyone else, I am sure. Hope to talk to you soon."
(As of June '04): "I am currently in Seattle at Stunt School learning to be a stunt performer, or better known as: an actress that can do her own stunts. It is a really eye-opening experience that is a great deal of fun. I will return to Chicago after these three weeks conclude and will hopefully get a fighting job. Other than that, I plan to assist Angela Bonacasa this Fall at RU in the knife class. Get ready, those of you who may be in it and that may read this...I've learned a few things. ;) Take care and keep in touch. Love always- Jessica"

ADAM FORD: [CHICAGO]
(As of June '08): "After the Goodman, I was freelance for About Face and Collaboraction as well as covering some Backstage tracks at the Goodman. In the Spring of '06, I joined Actor's Equity as a Stage Manager with the Mamet Festival at the Goodman. After that, I ASMed Okalahoma at Theatre at the Center as well as PSMing "Black Patent Leather Shoes." Then it was on to "Say You Love Satan" at About Face and my first show at the Marriott, "The All Night Strut." I've been out here ever since. I ran crew on Grease, then moved into the office as Project Manager during "Shenandoah" and was promoted to Production Manager on "Married Alive" in the summer of '07. We did the first regional post-Broadway productions of "The Producers," "Little Women," and just completed "Les Miserables." We just opened "Nunsense" and gearing up for "The Full Monty," "All Shook Up," "Princess and The Pea," and "Disney's Alladin" this fall-we're the first commercial company to get the rights to a Disney TYA!! Jennings and I split in September last year, so it's been nice being so busy at work, I haven't had much time. I'm hardcore into facebook and Wii, as one could imagine. My email is now ChopChi@gmail.com for those who want to get in touch! I hope all is well with everyone!"
(As of January '05): "I just finished floor managing BLACK NATIVITY , a Congo Square Theatre show at the Goodman. T'was an interesting situation and I am very glad it was over so swiftly. Now it's on to MARIELA IN THE DESERT at the Goodman. It's a world premiere about Mexican artists in the time of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Very exciting show. I'm in negotiations with Next Theatre to stage manage a workshop chamber opera in my off-month - (luckily it's only a three week contract and would fit perfectly with my Goodman schedule). After that, it's back to the Goodman for FLLOYD AND CLEA UNDE THE WESTERN SKY and then, hopefully, SEVEN GUITARS Seven Guitars with Congo Square in May/June. Jennings Wynn and I are going strong and are planning to move in together in August of '05. We're planning on buying a corgi and naming him/her Napolean or Roger. Please email me at ChopChi@hotmail.com to let me know how you are doing!"
(As of May '04): "I am currently rehearsing WINESBURG, OH, a world premiere Musical with About Face Theatre in collaboration with Steppenwolf Theatre Company to be presented this June 17 thru July 18 at the Studio theatre at Steppenwolf. After that, I will be Stage Managing a world premiere adaptation of Gogol's The Overcoat title THE OUTFIT with Serendipity Theatre Company. It will go up mid-september depending on the space that is found. From January to May, I will be Floor Managing two productions in the Goodman's Owen Theatre (one being the new Mary Zimmerman adaptation of Allessandro Barrico's novella, SILK ). After that, more theatre, more life. In the way of day job, I am at the Piper's Alley Starbucks at North And Wells shlepping coffee and loving it. Also, JP, Josie, Jessica and I have all moved into a palatial coach house behind Guthries Tavern on west Addison. Other than that, I hope all is well with everyone and all are finding what they want."

ZACH FORD: [LOS ANGELES] **MARRIED!!**
(As of June '08): “Hi, I've been living in Henderson (South Las Vegas) since February. I'm here covering the four principal knights in Spamalot at the Wynn Casino. We close July 13th. I'm training for another marathon (ran the Honolulu marathon in December). Maybe New York this time. I'm planning a trip to New Orleans the second half of July to work with Habitat for Humanity for two weeks. Then spending time with Bobbie and her family, then hopefully spending time with my family in August. Then probably heading back to LA (Bobbie and my stuff is there) until I get a job or self destruct (the company line will be: to blame Erin Patricia's implant, should the latter happen).”
(As of August '06): "Zach Ford is thrilled to be doing his two year update. He doesn't like LA (where he's been living since July 1st). He thinks it's too hot. He knows it's hot everywhere, but most places you can relish it because you know the cold of winter is coming and not the low 70's of winter which is still too hot for this hot blooded northern boy. He is nonplussed by the fact that no one wears bras here, but he loves that you can get good mexican food everywhere. He has been auditioning a lot. He has been not getting work a lot. He has been swimming in the pool in his complex a lot and has been relearning how to play the piano. He has seen no stars excepting John Kander who he met and the guy who directed Along Came Polly who he sat next to at a movie last night. He is taking a class from Jeff Perry (Thatcher Grey on Grey's Anatomy and an original Steppenwolf Member) starting in early september and he is pretty sure (from googling the class list) that one of his fellow class mates is a Victoria's Secret model: he is again nonplussed. He would like to thank Bobbie and his family and friends (he includes Erin Wagner in this category, though she is like a cute, little, blonde gnat) for this opportunity. PS - Look for the "Loving Repeating: A Musical of Gertrude Stein" cast album soon on Jay Records (www.jayrecords.com). PPS - He hates to solicit to friends, but wants you to know he has a (very legitimate, I assure you) travel website. Please check out www.timetotakeatrip.com next time you're booking travel or a vacation. Yup. Really. Thanks, Z."
(As of May '05): "I am doing HELLO AGAIN at Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park. I play the Young Thing and the College Boy (I don't know if you're familiar with the show, but that means I "do it" with four different people before the 90 minute show is over). Bobbie is in the show as well (I don't "do it" with her). There are only seven cast members. That has been fun. We close on the 15th of May. I have no idea what I'm doing this fall yet. I'm still supposed to hear back about some things. I have no work for the summer. I'm going to temp, I guess. Learn how to dance, maybe. I'm going to Europe in the end of July for twelve days. Is that near Japan? I've been trying to teach myself some sign-language basics out of a little paperback book. I can never tell what direction the hands are moving though because they're on a two dimensional illustration. I guess that's all for now. I hope you are well!"
(As of January '05): "I'm closing BIG, THE MUSICAL at Apple Tree Theater on Sunday. Bobbie and I are still together. We're going to see SPAMALOT on Tuesday, then heading to KC to visit with her family for a few days. After that I have nothing planned until the second week of March. So, I'm making plans to come do a few auditions and check out the areas in NY, in case I were going to move. In March, I begin rehearsal for HELLO AGAIN, also up at Apple Tree. I'm getting some great opportunities up there - (I have sex with Kevin Gudahl, Guy Adkins, and Susan McMonagle in that show) - and Bobbie is doing that show as well. So, if she breaks up with me soon, that's probably why: NOT because I'm actually a woman named Helen, who's had an operation in the summer of 2000: NOT because of that! How about that Ashlee Simpson? I'll talk to you soon. I'll let you know about New York when I know about New York."
(As of June '04): "Hi, guys. And girls. And Erin. (I took Comedy and Character.) I'm doing A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE , fittingly, at Appletree Theatre in Highland Park, IL soon. Previews begin on the 16th and Press opening is the 21st (Dan Stetzel's birthday party is that night as well at 7:00 at either Davenport's or Gentry on Halsted (I don't remember) (wow. double parentheses.) and he would love whomever to show up and you all fit that description). Anyway, I would love for you guys to come see the Appletree show if you get a chance. I'm turning Equity with the show and I think it is progressing nicely, so it should be good. I have a few comps and a few more half-price tickets. Just let me know if you're planning to attend. I also just moved to my own place at Sunnyside and Paulina and am planning a house warming party for later this month. I'll keep you updated via Erin Patricia. Appletree is located at 595 Elm Place, Highland Park, IL. The Union Pacific (I may have just made up the name of that line; in any case, it's the one with the green booklet.) Metra train goes almost to that exact block. I hope all is well. Or at least that is has improved from a month ago. Thanks. Zach."

LINSEY GESSNER: [LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY]
(As of Nov '10): "Hey! I am doing wonderful. I am working with an international real-estate company, Keller Williams and love the people I work with. I am also heavily involved in my boyfriends business Vines and Canines...check out the website www.vinesandcanines.com. In order to get my artistic needs met, I picked up a second job at Actors Theatre of Louisville slinging drinks for the directors and actors. I am also in the process of writing a book and beginning a health and organic living blog. In my spare time I hang with my dog and cat and awesome boyfriend! Hope everyone is doing great LOVE YA!!!!"
(As of August '06): "I just moved back to Louisville for a year. I plan on moving somewhere new after I save some money- I just don't know where yet. I plan on getting involved in Actors Theatre here in my old hometown. I am also working on getting my masters for health and fitness!"
(As of November '05): "HEY ERIN!! I'm doing so great! I'm single and loving it. I just moved to Damen and Divison. It's a great location. I'm bartending and serving. I am still auditioning with Encore. They have landed me with modeling gigs, but nothing else. I did Tony Lewis's MIDSUMMER playing Puck and had soooo much fun!!!! I was going to move to San Diego, but decided last minute to stick it out in Chicago. I hope everyone is great! I love you all so much. Please lets get together soon. Linsey."
(As of May '05): "Hey Everyone!!! I hope all is going well. I miss everyone so much! I am working at Northside Cafe as a bartender and a server. I love it and hope you guys come and visit (drink specials everyday). I am planning on travelling at the end of the summer - planning on Thailand for a month! Other than that I'm doing yoga and reading lots of books. Adam Venness is going to do my new headshots and then I'm going to start making the rounds again. Hope everyone one is doing great!!! Come visit! Linsey."
(As of November '04): "Still working at a fine dining restaurant called Boka, if anyone would like to visit. Registered with Encore, did some voice over auditions - no luck. I attended a TV-acting workshop at the Audition Studio, which proved to be much more informative then Oksana's class! I have not been pursuing theatre work, as of late - trying to organize my own theatrical fitness program (if anyone is interested, please contact). Currently living with my boyfriend, who I'm madly in love with, and my two cats, Hamlet and Ophelia. I hope all is well. I miss everyone. We should try to organize a party soon. I would love to see everyone!"
(As of June '04): "I am taking vacations and trying to relax, and save money. Keep in touch. OH! As far as the showcase- I registered with Encore Talent- but I'm not actively pursuing acting right now - I need a little break, I'll start auditioning in a month or so. Love ya, Linsey!"

ADAM GRANT: [CHICAGO]

PHIL HIGGINS: [CHICAGO]
(As of Feb '07): "So, I did have surgery on my ankle and was on crutches for a month, then had to wear a protective boot and then had a lot of physical therapy. On a side note, while I was on crutches I was in a wedding. Jen Bludgen's Wedding!! It was awesome. So, I've started auditioning again. I'm very excited about it because I was going insane just temping! First up this year, I'm understudying out at Drury Lane Oak Brook for the musical Something's Afoot and then who knows! Love to everyone!"
(As of August '06): "Okay darling dear snuggle bunny, hear you go whether you like it or not. I've been busy, Oklahoma with Theatre at the Center this spring and then Peninsula players in Wisconsin doing Cabaret. It was amazing Pen Players opened a new six million dollar theatre and we were part of the inaugural season. Next up is going to be really boring. I injured a tendon in my left ankle during Joseph and the .... rehearsals for Theatre At the Center. Tomorrow I find out it only gets a cast or surgery is required....yuck!! Hope all is well with you Erin my dear. Thanks for keeping up with all this!"
(As of November '05): "Erin my cuddle bunny! How are you? Here's my info!(*Where are you?) Living in Chicago! Woo Hoo! (*What are you doing?) Working at Starbucks part time. (*Who are you living with?) My Best Friend Molly. She cooks, I clean, it's a beautiful thing. (*Are you back in school?) No, Mmmmm interesting idea. (*Married/Kids?) Umm, no. (*What are you doing acting-wise?) Everything in the Light Opera Works season. From Chorus to Understudying and finally now I have my own lines. I also went on for an actor in DO I HEAR A WALTZ this summer at Theatre at the Center in Indiana. (*Anything coming up in the near future?) I'll be playing Rolf in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Light Opera Works, opposite Bobbie as Liesel, and Katrina is Maria - wait, aren't they the same age?! Hmmmm. Love, Phil."
(As of January '05): "Phil Higgins is happily living in a studio with a claw foot bathtub and really crappy water pressure. He just finished HMS PINAFORE with Light Opera Works in Evanston. Now, out of the goodness of his heart, he's helping a local Starbucks sell their coffee because he has nothing better to do with his spare time in between auditions and such stuff. Much love to all the '04 kids who will/are doing great things."
(As of June '04): Phil Higgins will be living in a fantastic studio apartment in Chicago, trying to pay rent with a job he has yet to find and auditioning as much as he can. He is NOT looking for the love of his life as hard as he can - because you never find them when you're looking for them.

KATIE JUSTICE: [CHICAGO] **MARRIED!!**
(As of February '05): "I have moved to my own apartment in Roscoe Village. I am waitressing at a restaurant downtown. I just finished a show and I am back to auditioning. Tough stuff. I am still dating the guy I have been dating for over a year now. He is pretty wonderful. Other than that I am trying to do a lot of traveling and stuff. Travel is my second love. Maybe even my first who knows. Not me!!! I am heading off to Costa Rica in two weeks. I can't wait. I rarely see anyone from school besides Katrina, Adam Cook, Zach and occasionally Chip. It is kind of sad. Oh well I suppose that is life. I wish I could go back to high school and have no responibilities. That was the life. Well miss you lots!!! Love ya, Katie!"
(As of May '04): "Well I am staying in town!! I am moving out of the Grandparents and into my own place like a real live adult. I have a bunch of auditions set up for the next few weeks. And then I am working my butt off at two different restaurants: Healys in Forest Park and Elephant & Castle on Adams and Clark, in the financial district. Come visit me!!! I am feeling a tad scared about my life and future, so I have come up with a plan. I am going to win the lottery and pay off my loans and then support my acting and singing habit. I miss everyone all so much. I knew I would miss everyone, but I didn't realize it would be this much. It is just weird to know that I am not going to see everyone every week like usual. I am not a fan!! Well, hope all is well!!"

JULIE KING: [CHICAGO]
(As of August '06): "I'm half-way through my Masters of Education at Lewis. Only a year of classes and a semester of student teaching left! I have these amazing roommates who don't charge me rent and do all of the grocery shopping - that reminds me, mom, dad, we need oatmeal. I work as a receptionist at a Midwest uber-gym, LifeTime Fitness, and during the school year I tutor through my university and judge high school speech competitions. Take Care everyone!"
(As of May '05): "I joined the "real-world" after graduation, working down-town, 9-5 job, great benefits, and I hated it. After taking a few lit courses for fun, I decided to pursue a Masters in Secondary English Education. I'm in Lewis University's Grad program in Romeoville, and I still live at home with my parents, (God bless them). Hoping this finds everyone happy and healthy."

KATHRYN KOROSI: [LOS ANGELES]
(As of June '08): "Holy crap, 4 years! We did it (so far)! Well, let's see…since I last reported, here's the reader's digest: made lots of delicious performance art with the Supercool Sluuts of America! (pronounced "sloots", don't get confused) which consists of myself, Ms. Sarah Weis, Jenn Spain and Kate Bergeron. We wrote 2 original shows, called "I Left My Birth Control in Baltimore" and "Bam Bam Suckitt!" a rock opera about Samuel Beckett's alter ego. I directed my first show (Interview by Jean-Claude van Itallie) which involved the MTP boys, as well as JP, Graham, and other favorites. It was a great success in my opinion and I learned a lot. After that I was in a few short films and had a couple of day player roles in some feature length stuff (Farewell Darkness, Art of Pain.) In the fall of '07 Sarah W. and I created a short film out of a performance piece we wrote about the current situation between the Dollar and the Euro. Sarah plays the Dollar and I'm the Euro. It was produced by i^3 Productions (owned by Sarah's creative partner.) Together the 3 of us wrote, directed, produced and shot the film, which is entitled ">< L: 2" or "Greater Than Less Than, Level 2." We describe it as "a glittery and rhythmic master/slave story about international economics." So far only half of it is finished, but that first installment is an official selection in this year's Beijing International Film Festival, so we're really excited and looking forward to finishing the film and entering it into lots more festivals. If you want to check out the trailers you can go to youtube.com/xgreaterthanlessthan. I'm now in Georgia gearing up for a stint in L.A. beginning in early June. I don't plan to be a professional auditioner there, as I got plenty of experience with that at RU. Rather, I want to work on projects with the talented people I already know and see what we can do about the need for serious artistic revolution. The time is now, so I'm goin. If any of you folks ever come out to visit, you're welcome to stay with me. I hope everyone is full of light and enjoying life! Much love!!!"
(As of November '05): "Alright Erin, you’ve finally worn me down. Here’s what’s going on in the exciting world of me: I work at Acordia, Inc. (an insurance brokerage firm and a subsidiary of Wells Fargo), which happens to be on the top floor of Chicago’s famous vagina building (known to some “historians” as the Smurfit Stone building.) So yeah, I’ve got a great view of the city, but I’m definitely paying my dues here by working for “the man.” I get salary, benefits, headaches, and identity crises, but I won’t be here forever, and it provides me the means to work on stuff that’s important to me in my free time. Along those lines, I’ll be part of Stockyards Theatre’s annual Women’s Performance Art Festival in December. Myself, Jenn Spain, Sarah Weis and Kate Bergeron have created a piece called I LEFT MY BIRTH CONTROL IN BALTIMORE for the festival. It’s 20 minutes long and it’s gonna change the world, I kid you not. I’ve also hopped on the MidTangent Productions bandwagon, and am helping to put together a festival of one-acts to be presented next spring (hopefully at Smartbar, which is beneath the Metro.) I’ll be directing, which should be challenging as hell and hopefully quite rewarding. We’ve been working to get MidTangent incorporated as a not-for-profit, and having lots of meetings where we discuss business and eat roasted chicken. Yum! Otherwise, I’m chillin’ and trying to get along, just like everyone else. I hope everyone is doing well and that we all meet again someday to celebrate our tremendous successes, despite the fact that we all went to Roosevelt and will probably still be making payments on our student loans. Love ya!! =)"

KATRINA KUNTZ: [CHICAGO] **MARRIED!!**
(As of May '10): "Last summer I filmed a commercial for AIU... and it's hilliarious because I look cross-eyed! I did "A Christmas Schooner" at Theatre at the Center last Winter and then returned to the West to do "The Taming of the Shrew" with Utah Shakespeare Festival this Spring. I am currently in Normal/Bloomington, Illinois for the summer season with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. I'm happy to be working, but eager to return to Chicago (and Scott) this Fall!"
(As of Dec '08): "Chicago's understudy supreme (me) is at work again. I am the female swing for "A Wonderful Life" at Theatre at the Center. However, my work has actually paid off, and I've gone on four times so far! I will be away from the windy city from January to February to play Olivia in Utah Shakespeare's tour of "Twelfth Night." I'm thrilled to be employed for those months, but sad to be away from Scott, Katie, and Jeff. Oh...and I am going to really miss waiting tables. :) That's all for now!!"
(As of June '08): “Hi Erin! I think (or at least I'm pretty sure) I sent you an update a few months ago?!? Not much has changed... I played Catherine in "Suddenly Last Summer" at ITC and I go into rehearsals for "Phantom" at Theatre at the Center soon. I wish I had more to "add" but that's about it! Oh!- I was Katie's MATRON of honor last week!”
(As of January '08): "Well, (big sigh), my hopes of leaving Chicago and heading to New York right after school have officially been dashed. I have found myself preparing for another Chicago winter. This year I officially became Chicago's premiere understudy (you may have found me performing weekly in many, an understudy rehearsal at Chicago Shakes and Victory Gardens). Unfortunately (and fortunately) I never had to go on. I am looking forward to the day when I perform in front of audiences, rather than stage managers! :) I guess the biggest news of my year is that on New Year's Eve, Scott (Stangland...RU grad) proposed (marriage) and on October 6th we were married in my hometown, Castle Rock, Colorado. It was well-attended by some RU alumni (Katie Justice was the maid of honor and Jeff Diebold the best man). I could easily say that it was the best day of my life...aside from our Freshman Showcase. We are living in Old Town and planning a move to NY sometime soon... Well, that's about it here. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
(As of Feb '07): "Can it really be 3 years? I am still braving the cold Chicago winters, and trying to put my degree to use. I appear (almost) daily as a server at the Elephant and Castle. It's alright, and it pays the bills (while theatre usually just pays for my Chicago Card Plus! )
I just finished understudying "Three Musketeers" at Chicago Shakespeare, and I start rehearsals for "My Children, My Africa" at Victory Gardens soon (understudying again). I am eagerly awaiting a 2007 show where I can actually plan some stage time. :) I'm represented by three agencies, but feel very distant from them...I am actually thinking of going exclusive...we'll see.
The biggest and most exciting news is that Scott and I are getting married! After three years of dating we are "tying the knot." It will be a small-ish wedding in Colorado. Katie Justice will be the maid of honor (we've remained close and see each other daily, as we are colleages at the E and C). Jeff Diebold's the best man, and Matt Crowle is a groomsman. The wedding party alone promises a good time! Send your good thoughts out to us on October 6, 2007!
Well, I can't think of much more...except a thank you to Erin for keeping us all in contact."
(As of August '06): "I'm still in Chicago....hard to believe, considering I hate humidity and tourists. I am still pursuing the acting thing while happily appearing several times a week as a server-extraordinaire at Elephant and Castle, US and Canada's leading "concept English Restaurant/Pub." Katie J. and Scott S. are my "colleagues" :) and, aside from the occasional rude customer, it works well with auditions and rehearsal schedules. I just got new headshots...I'm in color! Yes, I followed the trend. I got a nice response from agencies and I'm hoping to get sent out, and possibly "book" - I hate that term- something. This Christmas I'll be doing "Roasting Chestnuts" with Noble Fool...I'm looking forward to it...just not the commute of 2 hours to St. Charles. That's all for now!"
(As of January '05): "My life is swell. I did a show (a wonderful little ditty called WINTER WONDERETTES ) at the Prairie Cabaret Theatre in Peoria Il. It was fine - room, board, and pay - so, I guess it was worth being out of Chicago! Scott is wonderful (as usual). I went home to Colorado for Christmas and then to Oregon to be with Scott and his family... they are wonderful. I felt so welcomed into their family. They even made me a stocking! I am currently finding a new day job and I will be doing a little (new) musical with Red Tape Theatre (Jed, from Roosevelt's, co). Ben Dicke, Mindy, and Jeff Diebold are in it too. Should be fun. I am hoping to make a trip out to NY sometime soon to see Matt Crowle and (hopefully) you. Thanks again for your email!"
(As of June '04): "I am living in Boulder, Colorado this summer performing in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival as Juliet in R&J and Octavia in ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA . The cast is wonderful, the townhouses are fine, and Colorado remains absolutely beautiful. I aspire to return with dreadlocks and homemade clothes...hey, 'when in Rome.' It's nice being near home but I am excited to return to Chicago in August. As for the future, I plan to audition, get some kind of wonderful day job that has insurance, great pay, fun co-workers, friendly customers and instant gradification! There's nothing wrong with being optomistic right!?!"

RENDEL LEATHERMAN: [LOS ANGELES]
(As of June '08): "What am i doing? hmmm. Well I currently live in Hollywood about two blocks away from Kristin and Eli. It's awesome. I get to hang out with great friends, go hiking, front row seats for the Jamie Chura concerts, date guys on reality shows. Really, what else could you ask for? I curently live alone in a studio, although there is a mouse I've named Pepe. I work at a steakhouse as a bartender where i serve business men, hookers and all the A-list celebrities nightly, Tom-Kat, Babs, Elton John, JT... really, it is something to see. I am also finishing up a certification to teach pilates/weight training classes. I am still working on the acting thing, getting into the improv scene, and Kristin took some great headshots for me. I'll be doing a mailing soon but in the meantime, i'm just enjoying the sunshine. Best wishes to all, and congrats to all the married folK!!!"
(As of June '07): "I'm living at home with my mom. I plan to move to LA by August. I feel old and poor. Hope everyone else is doing well!!!"
(As of Feb '07): "Well things are looking up! I am in Arizona, sleeping in the living room of my mother's one bedroom apartment on an air mattress. Good times!! I had to get out of Chicago before I froze so I am taking a pit stop on my way to LA. What is in store??? Never know until you try. Still waiting tables and bartending, but enjoying the SUNSHINE!!! I did recently visit Chicago to finish up a short film with some other Roosevelt Alums (Kat, Chip, Adam Mack, Michelle). It was a mixture of Fun and Delirium! Eventually all my films will be able to be viewed at www.plainlabelpictures.com. Much love to all, and hopefully a few of us can rendezvous in LA!!! Rendel Daisy Leatherman."
(As of July '06): "I am currently serving and bartending at Bin Wine Cafe in Wicker Park/Bucktown. I just move in with my boyfriend (Kenneth of almost 2 years) and 2 other roommates in a big ol' apartment in Humboldt Park, so I am now a bus/bike gal. I like the area but it is hard to get around. I haven't changed my acting path but I have switched to mainly Improv and Sketch comedy. The freedom of doing your own work is astounding. I have also worked on several short films/commercials/tv pilots in conjunction with my man!! Good stuff. Right now I just finished the Second City conservatory and Musical Improv Conservatory and I am looking to begin a new group with some fellow classmates, I am also performing with my Playground Team "Without Erin" regularly. Hmmm... Oh yes and I am currently working on a Cabaret Show with Mike Descoteaux ( the Musical Director from Second City) HE ROCKS!!. I am just looking for the right atmosphere to have it in. During the day I feel like a housewife and sit around or clean, so if anyone wants to do lunch let me know!! Look forward to hearing from everyone- Rendel Daisy"
(As of November '05): "Hey Y'all. I just turned 25 and had a great birthday. I am working with Adam and Clayton at Big Bowl. My improv group WITHOUT ERIN, is performing at the Playground and writing a sketch show. I am taking classes at Second City, and trying to go to the gym more often. Rendel."
(As of May '05): "I am doing the Improv thing right now. I am in The Second City Conservatory and with a group at The Playground called WITHOUT ERIN. I am working on some short films here and they're with my boyfriend - oh yeah, I said boyfriend. And I am working with Adam Mack, Clay, and Justin Issa at Big Bowl, AKA, 'Where Roosevelt Students go to DIE!!!' Hope all is well! - Love, Rendel"
(As of January '05): "Hey girl! I am doing well, just working and taking some improv classes at the Annoyance and maybe Second City in the spring. I haven't been doing any theatre; taking a break from that scene. I want to try to work on more television and film stuff. We'll see. I'm paying the bills that's about it - Rendel."
(As of June '04): "I'm excited! I have an audition for Timeline next week for their upcoming season. Good times!! Take care!"
(As of May '04): Rendel is playing "Lena" in The Hypocrites production of LEONCE UND LENA . It runs May 30th-July 11th, so you better get your asses out there. Thurs-Sat at 8pm, Sunday at 7pm at the Atheneum. Sunday night is industry night for 10$. More info? Visit www.the-hypocrites.com. "I have some pics on that website too, super cool. Sometimes I want to stab Sean Graney in the eye, but other than that it's going great. It should be a fucking wacky show! Come under the influence if inspired. Hope all are doing well. I need a day job, aagggggggghhh hell!!" (An additional note: " Leonce und Lena " is Jeff Recommended!!)

TAT LEVY: [UNITED KINGDOM] **ENGAGED!!**
(As of Nov '10): "After much debate John and I are moving to Australia in March. We decided to get engaged, and it looks like the wedding will be end of February, beginning of March. I'm very sad to be leaving my job after what will be nearly six years, but new adventures await! hope all are well. xx"
(As of June '08): "Not much has changed since my last update. I'm still at the same job, but so far despite the writer's strike, and the upcoming SAG strike, we've had a pretty good year- one of our actors won an Oscar (that was a really good night!), and another has just been nominated for a Tony award. I'm so glad that I get to be a part of it all. Still with the same guy. It's been over two years now. I can't believe it's been over four years. Yikes! I hope everyone is well, and I send everyone a huge hug. If you're ever in London, get in touch. xxx "
(As of Feb '07): "I'm still in London and working for the same actors agency - I've been here for about 15 months now. Work is keeping me very busy, but it's still very exciting and I enjoy it most of the time. I just got back from two weeks in Australia with my boyfriend, we were in Brisbane and Sydney and it was amazing- and sunny- always good when you live in a country with perpetual rain! I'm hoping to get back to Chicago at New Years, and I missed a few people when I was there last summer, so I hope to see you then. Hugs and best wishes to all."
(As of August '06): "I am still in London, although missing Chicago very much. I've visited twice in the last year and am thinking about moving back eventually. I've been at my job for nearly a year now. Still really enjoying it and every day is still a challange. I'm getting to go to loads of cool films and shows and events - I recently went to a photo exhibition for Amnesty's protect the human campaign and it was awesome. It's also quite interesting that some of the stuff we got taught in Belinda's first class is coming in handy- I'm really glad we learnt about SAG and Equity, otherwise I'd be a bit stuck now! My boss is encouraging me to read scripts, and I've seen some really good stuff so far, although there is the occasional script you just want to put through the shredder! The theatre group I've belonged to for ages is now officially a company, although we haven't managed to get around to any of the business of it yet! our show also keeps getting pushed back, but that is mostly due to one or two departures and many new arrivals. Two of the company members (who met at our rehearsals- she's our A.D.) have just become engaged, and since they're both really good friends I can't wait for their wedding. I have been seeing someone for 6 months or so. He's an industrial chemist from Australia and has recently got a job in Cambridge so he's moving there next week. He loves films, so I've been going to the cinema a lot more! Marisa Tantillo has also moved here, and is getting married on Wednesday August 2nd. Audrey is going to be singing at the wedding. I was supposed to be going, but couldn't manage it. Her husband to be is lovely, and they make a really great couple. If any of you met Molly, Phil's old roomate, she is moving to London in September and we are going to be living together- we're moving to a bigger place in November (mine is pretty small) and it will hopefully have a spare bedroom, so if anyone wants to come and stay, you are more than welcome. Congratulations, Dave, that is wonderful! and I understand a few more of our year are also engaged - I wish you all much joy and happiness. Hugs to all."
(As of November '05): "I'm still in London. I'm working as a PA to a film agent, with some very big name clients. So, I'm right in the thick of things! I'm constantly busy and working my butt off, but I have great colleagues. My boss is lovely and she has taught me a lot about the film industry. I'm having a great time. Still living in the same flat. Lucia Rios has moved here to go to grad school and she was staying with me for a bit. Bruce Kirle is also living here! [Actually about 10 minutes away from me.] Funnily enough, Lucia and I were wondering how we'd find him, and then I ran into him in the street. He looks amazing and says he is getting on very well at his new job (He's teaching at the Central School of Speech and Drama). I've talked to him a couple of times, and we keep talking about meeting up, but I've been a bit too busy recently. Hopefully that'll be rectified soon...I'm still involved with the theatre group. We're doing some really interesting stuff at the moment. Can't wait to see how it goes. Hugs to everyone and hope you are all well."
(As of May '05): "There have been a few changes since my last update, so here goes: I quit my waitressing job in October of last year, and temped sporadically for two months of unemployment hell. In that time I proof-read my dad's last book, which was published here in March; so far it's selling pretty well, which is great. In January, I started working as a recruitment consultant for a small private firm in The City of London (financial & law courts area of London, also includes the theatre district), right next to St. Paul's Cathedral. Working in the City is usually quite exciting, and I get to meet loads of different (sometimes very, very strange) people every day- it's taught me to develop a good poker-face. Actually doing some theatre-type stuff these days too: I'm a member of an improv group founded by a psychologist/actor. We choose a subject to improv on, beat it to death for several weeks, and move on. Joking aside, there are some really cool actors in the group, and some good stuff comes out of it. I e-mail/IM with a few people from school sometimes and I'm glad to see/hear that everyone is doing well. I'm trying to get back to Chicago sometime soon. I send many hugs, good luck (& broken legs) to everyone, and hope that whatever you're doing, you are happy. P.S. Bloody hell, it's nearly a year since we graduated!"
(As of June '04): Tat has returned home to the bosom of her family, and is now frantically scrambling to get out (Just kidding!) "I am actually spending quality time with my family, the cats and my suitcases...this unpacking thing isn't as easy as it looks! I have no theatre stuff lined up for a bit - (you mean I actually spent four years in a THEATRE program?!!?) - but I do have restaurant employment in London looming, and am putting feelers out there for future schooling (Dramaturgy, etc.) or possible acting jobs, once I have actually managed to find my way around the beautiful city. For right now I am enjoying the somewhat unknown experience of sound sleep, and missing everyone in Chi-town. Much love to all, and remember, there is always a place for you to stay here! Hugs, Tat! (p.s.) If anyone sees Chuckles, please tell him I say Hi!"
(Update, June '04): "After a (very short) three weeks off, I am starting work again, at a very busy, very posh Indian restaurant , and although the work is very demanding, everyone seems very nice, and the managers don't seem to mind if I go the occasional audition, although, since I don't know anyone, I don't think that's going to happen for ages. After reading everyone else's fantastic news I wish I had theatre news... I miss being in the States a little, and I would love to hear how people are getting on. If you do wish to get in touch please try my 01 e-mail address - it is easier to access. Hugs."

TONY LEWIS: [CHICAGO]
(As of May '05): "Things are good here on my end. I am directing a production of MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM , with the theatre company, Adam Grant, Veness, Clay and I started. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm working a lot, but this show has been consuming my creative life for the past few months. I've had a couple of big auditions, but nothing came of them, except I got to go on 7 times as an understudy at Chicago Shakes. Well, gotta go, hope all is well."
(As of June '04): "Greetings all!! Hope everyone is well. I've been working, like, 50 hours a week since graduation. I'm understudying two roles (Snug the Joiner and Francis Flute) in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Chicago Shakespeare ( after studying that play so much in Steve Scott's class, it's crazy to see how much they cut it). I moved into a new apartment off the Sheridan stop on the redline with Kyla Thomas and Emily O'Neil. So is everybody else pretty freaking freaked out they decided to become actors?!?? Just curious. Love and Luck to all!!!! Tony"

ADAM MACK: [CHICAGO]
(As of November '08): "Hey guys! I'm still living in Chicago, but not sure for how much longer. These damn winters are killing me! I've been lucky to be fairly busy this year. I worked with Redmoon Theatre on Boneyard Prayer and Temporarium. I was in Texas Chainsaw Musical and I'll be playing piano for the Flaming Dames X-mas Torch cabaret show this December. I also was casting director on another indie feature this year, Miss Ohio. Farewell Darkness, the feature I cast last year, has won the Best Feature award at a couple film festivals as well. I made my film directorial debut on a television pilot titled Assissted Living. Otherwise I'm still slinging drinks at Shaw's Crab House. I hope everyone is doing well! A reunion would be fun!"
(As of June '07): "Hey guys! I hope this finds you well. I've been doing all kinds of crazy stuff this past year. I started bar tending at Shaw's Crab House, got hypnotized by money, and put acting on hold. While that was going on, I started doing some casting. I had interned at TP&R Casting to learn actor stuff, and ended up learning about that at the same time. In the past year I cast two short films, "Singing is Believing" and "Mating Dance." I also cast a feature film for UPressPlay Productions called "Farewell Darkness" Starring our own Keith Compton! I'm really excited about it, and it's going to be released late summer/early fall. Look for it! I finally got bit by the acting bug again, and have gotten back on stage. I did "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" with Saint Sebastian Players, and I was just cast in "Splintered Crosses." It's a short play festival about religion produced by Tympanic Theatre, a new company. We'll run from Aug 9 to Sept 15 at the Side Project. Come check it out! Again, I hope everyone is doing great, and loving life! When is our reunion?
Personally I still live with Justin Issa, Clay Stamper and my buddy Nick. I'm playing hockey on the beach still, last year Justin and I made it to the finals! In a couple weeks I'm going to South Beach with my lovely lady Danielle O'Farrell and my Dad and his wife. God, I need a vaca! I also have a cat named Gizmo. Much love!"
(As of August '06): "Adam is happy to say hi to all of his fellow classmates. He hopes that everyone is doing well. He's been auditioning for commercials and short films. Been in a couple of music videos and small ads. He spent the past year working with Hi-Five Productions as the casting director for the short film, "Singing is Believing." The premiere will be this fall, and everyone should come! He looks forward to more productions in the near future. Adam bartends at Shaw's Crab House to pay the bills. Stop by sometime. Much love!"
(As of November '05): "Yo Yo Yo!!! What up all my Alumnuses!!! Glad to be keeping in touch with ya'll! Erin, do you think we could put something on this board that allows us to stay in contact with each other? It would be cool! So, I just wrapped up HACK/SLASH , and it was a riot. Here's a little more info on the show... http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=6088 I've been interning at TP&R Casting (as some of you know who I've seen there) and it's really been great. A good chance to see the practical aspect of what Jane and Oksana (yes, even Oksana) had to teach us. So the buzz word now is audition! I'm looking forward to my next project, whatever it is, and I look forward to seeing everyone continue to kick ass. Hey guys, guess what? WE ROCK!!!!! I'm proud of ya'll and I hope to see you around town. If anyone wants to holler I'm 773/407/5681."
(As of May '05): "Hey everyone! I hope you are all staying busy. It seems like every two seconds I hear about something new someone is in. It's really amazing. Anyway, for those of you who haven't seen my bald head yet, I'm doing a show called HACK/SLASH; STAGEFRIGHT . It's about a couple of zombie hunters, and it's gonna be hilarious. It doesn't run until September, so I don't have location info yet. We are taking it to San Diego this summer for a convention, All expenses paid! Whoo hoo! It's got a lot of combat in it, so it should be a good time for all!"
(As of June '04): "Hey everyone! I can't believe how fast everything is happening for everyone. So many of us have things going on. When I was younger all I heard was that you would graduate with a theatre degree to be unemployed. Forget that! Congrats to all who are out there shaking it! I'm sitting here on my second to last day of King John, very thankful for the chance, and for the fact that it's almost over!!! I'm going back to Detroit to do a show on the 19th of June. It's called Play-by-Play, and it's a marathon of original short plays. I'll get to do a two person play twice. Should be fun. After that I'm moving up to Wisconsin for the summer. I'm doing an internship with the Penninsula Players. I'll be chillin with Dan Sanders Joyce, and I'm really looking forward to the experience. So to all of you making Chi-Town your base of operations, I'll see you in September. But I do still have my phone and e-mail. Thank you all for taking me in like one of your own. It means the world to me. I love you all!"

TONY NOWASKE: [CHICAGO]
(As of May '04): Tony hopes to be staying in the Chicago area for some time. "I currently live in the Edgewater neighborhood. Taking some time off from acting to stabilize myself financially. Debt truly is a marvelous thing. However, during this hiatus, I will not be letting my creative juices (ewwwww) go to waste. I will be writing and am definitely looking for anyone else interested in collaborations. On the long term plan, I kinda want to make a movie in the next year or so. I am currently working on a script; it's a comedy. But that might just be a pipe dream."

JP PIERSON: [CHICAGO]
(As of May '05): "Things are what they are. Managing Ben and Jerry's for a non-profit organiziation leaves me with not much time and more importantly [the] money to really attack auditions here in the Windy City, so I have started an online sex theater company, if you have any interest. We don't pay, but we have a great endorsement from Trojan and Lifestyles, so I can pay you in a plethora of condoms. Hope all is well with you. Happy one year back at you. Making those babies, JP!"
(As of January '05): "Besides being a hired spy, my life is relatively dull and boring. I have been checking into auditions, but nothing that I can go for, as I am not what is being looked for, and until I figure out what I am - be it a sad clown with a biting edge of language, or if I am in deed the peasant brute that my parents call me. I am stopped making sense to myself if you get the whiff of my sense...right. I am starving because Ben and Jerry can't really afford to pay me, despite their making me a catering manager and nixing the possibility of salary and nice health benefits. I was in a godawful, terribly abridged version that would make Kit Marlowe birth a cow and a score of flying monkeys and pooh out a coven of banshee's and then mark the directors name into his hit list for the afterlife - it was his play, EDWARD II ; a total botched presentation of political theater that I was apart of . How are you? How about you? Did Bailey join his forebearers in the the sewers of NYC? Talk later, JP."
(As of June '04): "There isn't anything interesting about my life, post CCPA. I do reside at chateau 3JA, and loving it. I am working at Ben and Jerry's. Ice cream will make me nice & plump I am sure, it is a devil to be reckoned with - much worse then my heroine addiction. I am taking time off from the acting crap, because I am exhausted and fed up with it. I have yet to lose my overtly blunt bitterness on the subject. I have been writing a great deal though; short stories, monologues, scenes, and I am trying to rework my ten minute play from freshmen year into a full work. That is my life, nothing worth writing about, so don't print any of this or I will hunt you and Bailey down and sell you to the Asian white slave trade market! But, whenever I do have something for you I will keep you posted. Miss you tons. Oh yeah, we will be in New York for New Years this year so mark the calendar. Ciao Ciao, JP!"

STEVE PRIDMORE: [LOS ANGELES]
((New Member!))

KATE QUIGLEY: [LOS ANGELES] **MARRIED!!**
(As of January '08): "Wow! I cannot believe that it’s been 3 ½ years!! We’re getting old!!! Haha! I’ve been a total slacker when it comes to writing updates, so I figured I was do for one. I moved to L.A. about two years ago, with a brief stint of four months back in Chicago last winter. I’m still married to the same guy… so score one for me! I’ve managed to book a couple of AFTRA U/5’s, which gave me my SAG eligibility, and I’ve been performing as a stand-up comic over the past year, with performances at the Comedy Store, and Hollywood Improv. I’m OK AT IT, but getting better with practice!! It’s HARD!!! For money, I work the corner and strip at private parties. JUST KIDDING!!! I work as a Miller Lite girl at special events such as Lakers, Nascar, NHL games, etc. If you want to see the most photo-shopped picture in the world, go to my myspace page and check out the poster I shot for Miller Lite. My boobs are HUGE in it, and NO…I DIDN’T GET A BOOB JOB! Lastly, I’ve gotta plug my blog. It’s called That’s Sooo L.A., ( www.ThatsSoooLA.com ) and it’s basically just some funny stories of things that I’ve witnessed out here that explain why everyone thinks L.A. is such a strange place. I promise it’s at least mildly entertaining!! The link for that is below, along w/ a link to my myspace, and a funny video I shot for TALKSHOW w/ SPIKE FERESTEN on FOX. Please drop me a line guys!! I’d love to hear from you!!! Kate"

(As of Feb '07): "Hi everybody! A couple of months ago I shot a sketch for a FOX TV show called TALKSHOW with Spike Feresten. It finally aired this past weekend, and actually turned out to be pretty funny, so I thought I’d pass along the link if you wanna check it out! Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw3wzRBJKIQ
Oh and P.S. - I miss L.A. way too much and am already working on plans to move back there asap. Probably a few months, but I’ll be there again soon! Love you all!!"
(As of January '05): "Just for the record, I feel like a tool writing about myself, but to appease Erin, I’m going to. Let’s see, since graduation, I’ve been working as a spokes-model for Jameson Irish Whiskey. That’s a lot of fun, and the money’s decent, so it’s not a bad job. Occasionally, I branch out and work for other liquor brands, such as Kahlua, Captain Morgan’s, and Baileys. It’s an easy job. As far as acting goes, things are going ok…could be better of course, but I suppose it’ll be that way for a while. I’m with Voices Unlimited for Voice Over work, and I love them. They get me auditions about once or twice a month. (Haven’t landed any jobs yet, but that’s not the point!) I also got with Baker and Rowley for a little while, but was advised by many to steer clear of them, and so I have. I was recently cast in a show called FLAMING DAMES 2 , which is a retro-burlesque type show with an 80’s punk-theme. That’s right folks, I will be singing and dancing for this one – FRIGHTENING, I know! I’ll keep you posted on when and where we’ll be performing, as I wasn’t really expecting to be cast and wasn’t paying attention to details!! LOVE and miss you all! (Well, most of you.) Email me! (Contact Erin for my email. I don’t want to post it and have some freakshow trying to get in touch with me!)"

ERIKA RATCLIFF: [CHICAGO]
(As of June '08): “Not knocked up yet but im lookin for a surrogate. Just Finished "Around The World in 80 Day's" at Lookingglass and had a ball. A few folks cam to see it. (thanks Matt and Nardo) Bout to get it on at Chicago Shakes in a new play "Funk It Up About Nothing" by the same brother's who produced "The Bombity of Error's" which i think was a big hit when we were in college.....The run Ends in Scottland at the Edinburg Fringe Festival in August. So I am fleeing the country to hang with the Scots. The current exchange rate is $5 USD = $9 Euros so I will be drinking lots of Pabst b4 i go. Holla at me if you want to set it off....”
(As of June '07): "Hey Boo! All is good. Just trying to stay Busy. Still Loving Chicago although Decaturs are coming this summer and I hate those lil MFer's. As for Thee ART. I just joined the Congo Square Ensemble in March. I have been working on shows and with the education and outreach program and really found a family in the company and their mission. They asked I said "Yes". Otherwise just closed An incredible show Black Diamond at LookingGlass Theatre. It was the show of a lifetime. I want to put in the air that I hope it gets picked up to tour. It is an important show about what is going on in Liiberia and the world should be educated. Next up is Taming The Shrew with Chicago Shakespere for the short Shakespeare this summer. I miss everybody and will randomly call a player or two or see someone on the bus but everyone I see seems to be happy and growing in different paths. Sending everyone good juju and hope all is well (in hell). HOLLA!"
(As of July '06): What is up my sister, All is good. Still hanging out in the Chi. Working as much as possible although I am taking the summer off to get some writing and new audition pieces together. Working with an youth outreach program in Dearborn Homes on the near south side. The kids are awesome. Next up is "African Company Presents Richard III" with Congo Square where I am now an artistic associate. Show opens in September and I am very excited about it. All the Chi-town players should definately check it out. Bruce Kirle and I are lovers now. I've learned how to make a mean Sangria. I'll bring it to the reunion. Otherwise just trying to keep it together. Hope being back state side is treating you good. Hear from you soon....yeah? Peace Out, Ericka Rrrrrr, 773-351-0999"

CLAYTON STAMPER: [CHICAGO]
(As of June '08): "Clayton (dance- dance) Stamper Is living in Chicago working as the Assistant to the Executive Producer of the Marriott Theatre. He is currently planning his plan of global domination. (it's harder then it looks). He is also working on a number of new and exciting projects, If you would like to find out more information please contact him at claytonastamper@gmail.com. 1 pilot episode of Purgatory based on life in a college consevatory. 3 Rock Musicals and 1 docuplay regarding the War in Iraq. He hopes all of you are well and looks forward to hearing from you. Giant love, C."
(As of January '05): "I'm still here [in Chicago]. I start assistant directing, COMEDY OF ERRORS, at Chicago Shakespeare on the 10th with David Bell. Other than that, Tony Lewis, Adam Grant and myself are putting a non-for-profit theater company together, called, Mid-Tangent Productions. It's keeping us busy and focused. Thats about all for now. Bigg lovve, Clayton!"

KYLA THOMAS: [CHICAGO]
(As of Sept '06): "Two years later (since graduation) and life hasn't stopped moving at a fantastic pace. Mark and I moved.. downstairs. The renovation has been a lesson in both carpentry and patience. When it's all said and done I'd like you all to stop by for a drink... or two.. or three. Just assistant directed "Closer" with MOB Productions, a fantastic new company- keep an eye out for these guys, they rock. Otherwise I'm auditioning, still working at the same firm, moonlighting as a private investigator and trying to perfect my triple back flip (and by 'trying' I mean my imagination is still recklessly intact-- there is no actual flipping). Best wishes to all! ~Kyla"
(As of November '05): "I'm still in Chicago, doing theatre at night and working at a law firm by day. I live with my wonderful boyfriend Mark and feel like I'm on top of the world. I haven't gone back to school, though I am seriously considering taking French at the Alliance Francaise. I've always wanted to be bilingual and I do feel the need to be learning something new. Not married, no kids. Theatre-wise I just finished SYLVIA by A.R. Gurney and PRIVATE EYES by Steven Dietz. Now I'm auditioning a little and relaxing a lot: exactly what I feel like doing :-) I learned to sail this summer and planted my first garden. I camped and hiked and drove to the u.p. to meet Mark after the race to Mackinaw - if you've never been to Mackinaw Island, I suggest going. It's really quite interesting and wonderful: no cars, just bikes and horses... almost makes you wish the whole world was like that.. Hope everyone is well!."

ADAM VENESS: [CHICAGO] **ENGAGED!!**
(As of January '05): "Adam Veness has moved to New Zealand to herd Longhorn Sheep. He enjoys it and finds it peaceful. He is still doing headshots, though, only for those who he really wants to do headshots for. He is also the new production assistant at the Noble Fool Theatre and it keeps him incredibly busy. He gets to apply all of the craft that Roosevelt forgot to teach him and he is 'faking it' 40% of the time, but he seems to fake it well. He now writes only in the third person because he feels like he hears the word 'I' entirely too much in this business he has chosen. He is also kept busy with the promising production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM: A QUEER TALE, which is set to go up in June. The Theatre Company, MidTangent, is the brainchild of Tony Lewis, Adam Grant and himself. He believes it will be kitchy and "pop", but just enough to sell out. Bailiwick is on board, and it will be running in conjunction with their 'Pride Series'. Shalom and good cheer to all those whom he enjoys."
(As of May '04): Adam Veness has moved out of his sloppy bachelor pad! He is now living comfortably in his own studio on Pine Grove in Wrigleyville. He has a fully operational headshot studio and would like to take your picture! "I hope all is well in the world of ex-CCPA!"

ERIN PATRICIA WAGNER: [NEW YORK CITY]
(As of Nov '10): "Still living in NYC, very happily. I am all resettled into my NYC life. Actually, I am now in college to become a Sign Language Interpreter. I have already finished my 1st five classes. I have approximately 3 years left before I will earn a degree. I'm very excited about this. Sign is the only other thing I've ever been passionate about (besides acting) and I want to have a degree in something so I can quit waitressing in a few years. Other than that, things are as usual. I've been home 8 months now and since then I've kind of taken a break from acting to reevaluate things and decide how I want to proceed. I turned 29 two weeks ago, which is craaazy, but all is well and I am happy."
(As of May '10): "Happy 6-Year Anniversary! Well, I am back in NYC. After giving L.A. a try for a year, I decided to move back to my home city. I loved L.A. & it's weather, but I think NYC is the place for me. I'm back living in a very nice apartment on the UES and I'm back at my singing job in Times Square. Things are good. I've been home for about three months now and I finally feel settled back in. I will begin auditioning again soon. Hope all is well with everyone. Love, me."
(As of May '09): "HAPPY 5-YR ANNIVERSARY!! Just yesterday, the RU L.A. Group, met for their 5-Yr Reunion. Chicago's reunion was the day before that. Very successful outcomes! Thank you all so much for participating & continuing to keep in touch! On my end, what can I say? I have moved to Los Angeles!! I never thought I'd actually live here!! It's been two months now & I just got a job at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen). Today was my 2nd day of training - yikes!! I'm still in "adjustment"-mode out here and hope that things will quickly settle out & become comfortable. I'm missing NYC, but I'm happy I've moved here to give things a try. My mass agent mailing is almost ready to be sent out & then I'll be on my way. Wish me luck!!"
(As of November '08): "Still on the Upper East Side (do I sense a running theme here?) with the chihauhau & the cat. Still singin' for my supper - literally! I recently did a one-day principal gig on a new Adult Swim show that will premiere in February, called 'Delocated.' You must watch! Anyway, it made me AFTRA-eligible! Also, this past September I became SAG-eligible for being in Equity for a full year. Awesome. In other news, I've been thinking about moving to LA... for real... in March. At least that's the plan anyway. I'm really nervous about it, but also very excited! In family news, my sister did give birth to her second son, Jack, on June 11th. He's doing great and is now 5 months old! How time flies! Speaking of time flying, our next update will be our Five Year Anniversary! Let's try to have a reunion! Yay!"
(As of June '08): "Four years! Yeesh! Well, here's my update. I still live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with my little chihauhau, Ashley, but we live in a much bigger/better apartment now. I'm still going out for auditions and just recently booked a commercial for Red Mango frozen yogurt. It'll be playing throughout New York in a month or so, but they said they are debating making it a national thing at some point. Fingers crossed. I still work as a singing waitress, which is pretty fun and it pays the bills. In other news, I am now back in college beginning my three-year degree for Sign Language Interpreting, so I'll have an option other than 'waitress' - however, I am starting to get the L.A.-itch. My sister is giving birth within the next two weeks to her second baby (Jack) and we found out it's a boy, so I'm super excited! That's pretty much it. I want to give a shout out to Robin! Congrats on your new addition and I am so excited for you!! Thanks everyone for writing and we'll update again in November '08! Much love!!"
(As of January '08): "I have been working at Stardust Diner for about 10 months now, still living on the Upper East Side. Actually I'm about to move. I'll still be living on the Upper East Side, but 6 blocks from my old apartment. My sister got married in December and is half-way through her second pregnancy. We won't know if it's a boy or a girl for another week & a 1/2. I guess that's about it for my 3 1/2 year update. Back in May!"
(As of June '07): "A brief update. As I said, I'm living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I got a job 3 months ago at Stardust Diner as a singing waitress with Amanda Markeski and (formerly) Mr. Matt Crowle, until he left for an awesome job doing Spamalot! So cool! Other than that, I'm auditioning. I have a show coming up this summer out here called NIGHT OVER TAOS. I'm going to be the lead girl in it, which is awesome, but such a scary undertaking. Estelle Parsons is directing it. My nephew just turned one. Oh, and I met up with Adam Cook out here! He was in town for the day and we went out to dinner! He and I talked about planning our class' 5-year reunion. More information to come. Love you, guys."
(As of Feb '07): "I am now living in apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with my two roommates and my cat, Lindon. I just moved here like a week ago, so I'm on a frantic job search. Ugh. I'm still auditioning a lot, but now I don't have to commute - yay! Since we've last updated, I did that Under-5 on Guiding Light and I got a lead part in a play out here. Crazily, I've run into Matt Crowle, Amanda Markeski and Courtney Reed! I actually stepped out of a CVS and there Matt was, just strollin' on by me. Lol. My nephew is already 9-months old, for those of you who know him or my sister. I guess that's really all of my update. Hope I can visit Chicago sometime this year. Bye till May!"
(As of July '06): "I am back living in New York. Those of you who remember my sister, Caytee, she just had a baby. He's two months old now. His name is Braeden and he's so adorable! Well, since I've been back in America, I've been doing a few short films and stuff, but my biggest accomplishment is that amazingly I got an agent! Other than that, I work nights at Starbucks and my boyfriend from Japan is visiting for the month! Yay. That's all I got."
(As of November '05): "Well, I just turned twenty-four a few days ago! I'm still living in Japan. I've been here for almost eight months now and my contract is nearly over. I'll be back in New York on December 27th. I auditioned for a new contract out here, but I won't know about that for another few weeks, and even if I get it, I think I still might come home, cuz I've really started to miss America. Everything's kind of up in the air as to what happens next, but I guess we'll see. I'm doing two Christmas shows out here, as well as, the Marilyn one and my Japanese thankfully continues to improve. I just can't wait to get home and eat some American food and watch some quality American TV. I like Japan a lot, but I will never take America for granted again. If I see one more bowl of Octopus Balls on a dinner table, I don't know WHAT I'll do... Peace, Love, & Octopus Balls, Y'all. I'm outti. Contact me." :)
(As of May '05): "Hey, well, I've been living in Japan for about two months now. I'm getting pretty used to it. I even have a little Japanese turtle, named Mizu (which means "water"). No one speaks English though, so I've been learning a lot of Japanese. I'm working five days a week with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, so it's pretty cool. As the plan goes now, I'll be back in New York at the end of December. Love you guys! Erin."
(As of January '05): "Hey everybody! I miss you all so much. Thanks for keeping up with this website. I get so excited to see where everyone is. Okay, so here's what's up with me. I got offered a little show in Japan. I'll be playing Marilyn Monroe. It's a 9-month contract from March till Xmas '05, so I'll be moving out there in 2 1/2 months. They are giving me my own apartment too. They pay for food and my visa and my flight, plus I get a nice salary per month, so I can save up some money. I'm really excited, but I'm kinda nervous - guess I'd better start learning Japanese. Anyhoo, I love you guys. Please continue to write me and stay in touch. There are so many of you I haven't heard from. Keep safe & hugs all around!"
(As of June '04): "Two days ago, I went into the city for a few auditions that I found in Backstage and I just received word that I got in a show called YOU'RE IT! It's like a musical parody of the 1940's motion picture era. I am playing the 'leading lady'. We are rehearsing in Manhattan for 4 weeks, starting June 7th, and then we move to Seaside Heights, New Jersey for tech & open! We are performing 2 months on the Jersey shore. We get free room & board & a salary. There's 12 people in the cast and we'll all be living together in a small apartment, 1 block from the beach! I am so excited! Hope everyone's doing great & remaining safe and happy!"
(As of May '04): "I am now living in New York. I'm at home with my family, which is cool. I don't have my own apartment yet, but I'm happy to be at home for the summer. I need to get grounded after graduation. It was so weird to leave Chicago and know that I wouldn't be coming back in the Fall! How scary! The last person I saw was Phil, who sold me a stuffed rabbit at the Symphony Store, an hour and a half before my plane to New York departed, haha - don't ask (&, thanks for the discount, Phil). Anyway, my rough plan, as of now, is just to get a Backstage ["NY Performink"] and start auditioning for things. I recently had a pretty cool audition for CBS (w/ a few of our classmates). They were auditioning for new female leads in NY & L.A.-based soap operas and I got a callback. I haven't heard anything though, so - fingers crossed, right? I figure, the best thing for all of us [to get used to doing] is just to audition for a million things and then just forget about all of them, so that when you actually DO get a call for a job, it's a very nice surprise. I miss you all and I'm glad this website is begin to grow. How weird that we're all graduated!!! Ahhh! Okay, love ya! Ciao!"

DAVE WENDELBERGER: [CHICAGO] **MARRIED!!**
(As of June '08): “After four years of being away from Chicago, I miss it with all of my heart and more than that, I miss the people that I knew there. However, I am happy to say that I only have one year left towards earning that terminal degree: the "Masters". Angie and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary on May 26, and we were fortunate enough to be back in Chicago where it all began. I am acting this summer is three shows with a little pay. Angie is directing and teaching. Family is good. Summer is good. I want the primaries to be over and I want a Mini Cooper. Hope everyone is doing well. We should try for a big party next year!”
(As of January '08): " am half way done with my Master's of Fine Arts in Acting at Michigan State University. I still get to teach every semester, and this semester I've written a new syllabus that incorporates some of the things we did in Adrian's Comedy and Character. I am excited to work on a production of True West that will be directed by Angie and performed at the end of March. Married life is everything it's cracked up to be, whatever that means. We are happy and live like an old married couple: grocery shopping on Sundays, Grey's Anatomy on Thursdays and dinner with the in-laws every once in a while. No babies yet. We think that might still be another year or so away. Angie works at University of Michigan-Flint as the Costume Shop Supervisor and she hates her job with a passion. She was about to get a new job for next fall, but decided that staying one more year would be the best choice. I miss everyone and am still fascinated when I get "facebooked" by someone."
(As of August '07): "Hey Erin! Aside from having dreams of you and I getting hitched, I had a real-life wedding of my own this summer! On May 26, Angie and I exchanged our vows and took to plunge into married life. The wedding was beautiful: I accompanied our church choir for an opening number (only fitting: "Dave the Accompanist") My dad played the guitar for two of our friends from MSU and they sang Songbird. The reception was amazing. We had a live band! Angie and I danced to The Luckiest. Chicken Parmesean in case you were wondering. And oh how our lives have CHANGED!!!! um...it's pretty much the same as it was before, only now we get a tax break! (sorry Phil) I will start my 2nd year of Grad school at MSU in the fall. Teaching 2 classes of Theatre 101. It's just as exciting as it sounds! Angie landed a job at the University of Michigan-Flint where she will be the Costume Shop Supervisor and then teach classes starting in the winter. We move into our new apt together on Aug 1! From 2 studio apts to 1 two-bedroom...the least you can say is that we're excited. I miss everyone! Think of Chicago often. good-times. See you all soon! Love, Dave."
(As of Feb '07): "I'm still living in East Lansing, MI pursuing an MFA in Acting. I get to teach 101 and the second non-major acting class, 310. Trying to impart what little knowledge I have on performance art to my kids...students that is...no kids yet. Hah. Angie and I are still engaged to be married on May 26th of this year. The planning is coming along, and we've only threatened to elope once or twice. I'm sad to say that I don't get to see many of you from RU very often. Our little party last Sep was soooo great to see everyone there. Love, Dave."
(As of July '06): "After two years, graduating from RU still only seems like yesterday, and the classes that we all took together are still very fresh in my mind. I've moved to East Lansing, MI with Angie, where she is still attending MSU for her 2nd MFA (Production Design Costumes). In February of 2006 I proposed to Angie and she said yes! We have set a wedding date for May 26, 2007 (Memorial Day Weekend). After working for MSU as an accompanist and Musical Director for a few shows, I guess I got sucked into their program in a way. The head of acting suggested that I audition for their MFA program starting this fall, and I decided to do it. So now, beginning Fall of 07, I will have a least 3 more years in East Lansing. Hey, why not! I miss Chicago like mad. I hope we will get back to the city someday. Angie and I just finished a musical this summer, A Day in Hollywodd A Night in the Ukraine. (A Marx Brothers Delight) I wish everyone well! I would love to have a 5 year reunion. Let's do it at Steve and Adam's old apt. even if they don't live there!"
(As of May '05): "East Lansing, MI is all that it's cracked up to be, but I've made many friends and Angie and I are doing great, so that's what counts! I'm doing 2 shows this summer, starting rehearsals on Monday, so it's a gonna be a little hectic. Take care!"
(As of November '04): "Well, well, well...I miss Chicago, what can I say. I miss seeing everyone in classes and shows! But hey, we'll catch up sooner or later down the road! East Lansing is a town filled with 40,000 virgins who all want to drink and poke each other. Trust me, we got a great education from our little school we call Roosevelt...Michigan State University's theatre program is for the birds. So yay for us! I'm working full-time at a hardware store called Carter Lumber. We sell wood. I'm also playing the piano for a church choir and get paid for doing it. I'm having fun with that. I accompany here and there for students that I've met at MSU. I'm playing for a wedding on Dec. 4 - lots of jazz and Sinatra is what the couple has asked for. Yippee! Looking forward to Thanksgiving A LOT! Hope everyone is living. :) Take care for now!"
(As of May '04): "This summer, I'm putting my acting chops on the back burner so that I can make some cash while working for Chicago Special Events Management. I will be joining many other Roosevelt graduates in the field of work, and I think it'll be a grand ole summa! On August 28th, Angie and I will be making the pilgrimage to East Lansing, MI where she will be earning another Master's at Michigan State, this time for Costume Design. And I will be doing my best to keep up with her life, and I will probably break into the acting world of East Lansing. You know, use my Chicago-style good looks and way cool training to bust it open over there! Anyway, August 27th! We are having the biggest going away party ever! It will be held at Chuckles', Josie's, JP's, and Jessica's awesome coach house. A.K.A. "A Triple J's House" So I will definitely be getting on the horn and inviting everyone I possibly know, but ya'll should do the same. We're gonna rock this town one last night! Have an excellent, plentiful, and relaxing summer everyone. I'm sure I'll talk to all of you soon."
